Chapter 2

Kayla's POV

I went to my best friends/ cousins that have been with me through the good and bad. Their names are Stephanie and Rachel. Stephanie has brown eyes and brown hair she is 5'4 just like I am, she is popular and I'm not. Rachel is a little bit smaller than both of us but she has black hair that is up to her shoulders and she has brown eyes. Rachel is kind of quiet but when you get to know her really well she is a sweetheart.
"Hey guys, how was your summer?" I said
"Mine was kinda boring" Rachel said
"Same, how was yours Kayla?" Stephanie said
"It was ok I didn't really do anything" I said
"Can I see your schedules?, I want to know what we have in common." I said
"We have gym, history, and Spanish together" Rachel said
"Cool, I'll see you guys later" I said
The day went pretty quickly but know I had to go to gym class which I was pumped for. I had this class with my two best friends Rachel and Stephanie. I wore a crop top with some booty shorts and I had my hair all up in a high ponytail.
I happened to have Grayson in my gym class which I really wasn't surprised since he's in all of my classes. I noticed him staring at my butt which made me blush and become really nervous. In gym we were playing volleyball which I was pretty good at considering I have won 2 first place trophies and I play travel. Me, Stephanie, and Rachel all play together and we are always in the same volleyball team so we win together.

Grayson's POV
Kayla looked so hot in those booty shorts. Man did I want to make her mine, she was so beautiful and perfect, all the guys would try and take her away from me but I wouldn't let that happen.

Kayla's POV
The day was over so I went to my locker and I got my stuff. Grayson offered to walk with me so I accepted it and we walked together. As we were walking we were playing 20 questions so we could know more about each other. He asked me some basic questions about myself and we went back and forth. When I walked into his house I saw this other guy in Grayson's house I assumed it was one of his friends but it was his twin brother Ethan. Grayson introduced me to Ethan.
"Kayla this is Ethan, Ethan this is Kayla" Grayson said
"Nice to meet you Kayla" Ethan said
"Nice to meet you too" I said
"See you later Ethan" Grayson said
"Bye" I said
"Bye Kayla" Ethan said
We then went straight into Grayson's room.
"So, what do you want to do?" I said
"Netflix?" I said
"And chill?" He said
I have him a surprised look.
"I'm kidding" he said chuckling
That comment made me blush and he gave me a smirk.
We were watching the purge and I was so afraid of scary movies. As one of the scary people popped out I buried my head into Grayson's chest.
"Don't worry, I'll protect you" he said
"Thanks" I said blushing like crazy
I looked into his dreamy eyes and we both were leaning in. We ended up kissing but it was a slow and passionate kiss.
I checked my phone and it was 8 pm, thank god it was Friday.
"Do you want to stay over?" He asked
"My mom might get worried so I think it's best if I go home." I said
"I'll walk you to the door" he said
Grayson's POV
I didn't want her to leave, she has completely changed me in a good way. I used to be the baddest guy that always got into trouble but now that's in my past and I don't do any of that anymore. I've never seen this side of me before, I would do anything to be with her.
"Let's do this again sometime" I said
"We should, my house?" She said
"Sure" I said .
I pulled a strand of hair behind her ear and I leaned in to kiss her luckily she kissed back. It lasted for a minute but then she backed away because she had to leave.
Kayla's POV
When he gave me the kiss goodbye I got butterflies in my stomach. I walked home and I greeted my mom Beatriz. My dad was named Cesar and he was at work as a scientist so he sometimes takes night shifts.
"Hey Ma" I said
"Hello , how did school go?" She asked
"Pretty good for a first day" I said
"Why are you smiling so much?" She asked
"I don't know" I said
I went straight into bed replaying what just happened with Grayson. I could feel a grin spread across my face. Then I went into bed.
