On a nice day, you were walking outside of the school. While you enjoyed the sun that made your skin feel warm, you noticed her, Junko.

You gathered your strength and strolled up to Junko, clearing your throat. Junko looked up, glancing at you.

'Hey,'  You greeted, hoping Junko wouldn't notice the droplet of sweat working its way down your cheek. 'How are you, Junko?'

Junko smiled. 'Oh hey, Y/N. I am doing just fine, reading up about some tragic accident outside of Tokyo.'

You hummed. Of course Junko was reading up on something tragic, if you were to guess, probably a bunch of fatalities. But you weren't here to guess.

'Would you uh, like to grab some ice cream with me? I know a really nice shop that's close.'

For a few seconds, Junko was silent. You gulped as you stared down at your feet.

'Sure, let's go!'

As the two of you exited the school grounds, you stuffed your hands inside your pockets. Junko walked along side of you, humming a song.

'So-'

'I-'

You both paused and giggled, smiling at each other.

'You first,'  You said with a nod.

'Just wondering if you had some sad news to tell, the more devastating the better.'

Right. This is Junko Enoshima, the queen of despair and everything not nice.

'Well, when I was younger me and my family got a cat. After a while, we noticed her belly was getting bigger. Sure enough, she was having babies. One of the babies got stuck while she was giving birth and it died, then she couldn't get the other kittens out.'

You sigh, 'We weren't able to get her to the vet in time and she died, the three kittens that were already born were too weak and they passed away a few days later. That really sucked.'

To your surprise, Junko is sniffling. She wipes her eyes dry, sighing. 'God, that was really tragic. The sorrow just seeped from you.'

As you thought of something to say, you noticed the store. 'Ah, there the shop is. It's my treat, so feel free to choose whatever you want.'

Junko tapped on her chin, scanning the menu. 'A waffle with strawberry and lemon please!'

You got your wallet out and ordered the ice, taking a cone with chocolate.

The two of you found a spot on a bench nearby and sat down together.

'What were you going to say?' Junko asked of you then.

A blush made its way onto your cheeks. 'Oh uh, well I was just wondering if you'd like to hang out some more. We never really get to talk at school, and I'd really like getting to know you better.'

Junko smiled as she took a spoonful of ice cream. 'Alright. Let's ask each other a few questions. If I like what I hear, I'll give you my number.'

You eagerly sat up. 'Okay, you can go first.'

'So gentle!' Junko cooed. She licked her spoon clean, thinking. 'What Is your Super Duper talent?'

You sighed. 'Well, Y/T. It's nothing special, sometimes I am embarrassed of it honestly.'
