It was a few weeks later. Alex and Alyssa had discovered their powers; Alex had green, and Alyssa had purple. It was a Monday. Talon had stayed the night at Araya's house, and they shared her room. Araya forced him to sleep in the bed while she slept on the floor. Talon woke up before her, as always. But, something was different. The room was cold. He stood up, stretching. Talon, called a voice he had heard before. He looked around. Nothing. Talon, it called again.
He looked on Araya's dresser. There were two heart shaped lockets, both the same blue as the magic they both made.
"What the heck.." Talon whispered to himself, grabbing one of the lockets and putting it on. It glowed for a moment, then went back to normal. Araya shifted in her sleep. Talon looked over at her. She mumbled something, but Talon couldn't make it out.
Then he noticed it. The flower. It was on her. On her arm, smiling wickedly. "Howdy~ You didn't think I was gone forever, did you?" Flowey asked Talon. Talon boiled with anger. He growled slightly. "Part dog, huh?" Flowey teased. He laughed, a deep and evil laugh. "Ha ha ha ha.. you really are an idiot, aren't you?"
"No." Talon whispered. "Hmm?" Flowey asked. "I didn't quite hea-" "No!" He said, louder. Flowey laughed again. "I'm not an idiot! In fact.. we're going to save the world. Just you watch." Talon smirked at the flower. Araya slowly woke up. "T..Talon..?" Her soft but raspy voice called. The flower disappeared. She reached out towards him. "Yeah, baby, I'm here." He told her, grabbing her hand. She was cold. Freezing cold. And her eyes.. were yellow. As yellow as that fucking flower.
Anger boiled inside him again. That flower could mess with him. But not his friends.
And definitely not his soul mate.
