Dear puddin,
Today I seemed to have made a breakthrough. The Joker finally started talking to me and I wasn't surprised at what he said. Apparently his father was a widower after his mother died driving under the influence. His father in turn became increasingly abusive. He has also revealed that his first name is Jack and he asked that I refer to him by first name. As I haven't been able to find any records on him previous to his becoming the "red hood" then the joker I must assume he is telling the truth for now.
