I know you're probably expecting some sob story of how Will and I broke up but no I was okay with it, it was what he said that confused me. Here's how it happened.
I sat in my cabin after breakfast and lay down, my pitch black guitar and set of drums hidden in the corner in a cocoon of shadows. It was a gift from my dad and apollo. He said he saw some potential in me for the music industry. There was a knock on my door " Come in." I said reluctantly. "Hey" said the blonde boy in front of me "hey sunshine" I replied to Will
" Listen.... We need to talk" he started
"yeah yeah I know you're gonna break up with me"
"how did you know?" he asked surprised
" Don't act like I didn't see you snuggling up to Mason" Mason was an unclaimed boy who had eyes like percy's except less experienced. "yeah well what about a certain son of hephaestus you've been eyeing" now I was truly confused who was this son of machinery I was intrigued with "Who?" I asked "Not telling. Just remember fire mixes with death easily" was Will's smart reply "Solace, stop playing" I demanded.
" well seeya 'round Neeks" he answered and left, snickering.
I sat dazed what just happened I thought to my self. Suddenly a smell of WAAY to much perfume clouded the air and there, in all her mighty, was Aphrodite "whoever can see you instruments is you soul mate" she said talking rapidly, and left. Then another knock on the door. Sighing I opened it, surprisingly it was Leo his eyes watering.
