Once lunch was over, we all split up again."Strength!" Jack said in exitment. I chuckled, trying to hide the nervousness building up inside of me. Without knowing it, I curled my fingers around Hiccups arm tightly. He sent me a look of pure concern while wrapping an arm around me."Youll do fine. Your the strongest person I know". He said solemly. I smiled pitifully and leaned me head on his shoulder. Jack nudged Hiccup."I feel bad for who ever has to fight you". He said with a grin. Hiccup rolled his eyes as we entered the arena, Mr Gobber waiting patiently. "There probably going to get a teacher to fight him". I muttered so only they could hear. Jacks grin widened while Hiccups jaw slakened. Frosty patted his back jockingly.
Once all the other student arrived, Gobber spoke."Now, well be testing you strength. You will be paired by you form and previous scores." He explained, then turned to Hiccup while stroking his beard thoughtfully. I felt Hiccup stiffen under my grasp."You.....Who are you gonna fight?" He aksed to himself."He can fight me".

It was the strange hooded man. He stood in the doorway, practiclly 3 timed the size of Hiccup. Hiccups face paled and his shoulders dropped. I turned to Gobber along with everyone else who waited in anticipation."Very well!" Gobber said in satisfaction. Hiccup looked at him as if he had two heads, the man simply shrugged."You two can fight last". Gobber informed. He then began to read out the pairings.

When he said my name I looked around for this'Lauren'. My eyes landed on the girl with Shreks face. I mentally laughed. She glared at me once more amd turned away sassily. I rolled my eyes and turned back to Hiccup. I didnt really listen as he read out the other names.
A couple other fights went, they were quite pitifull. Then Jack was up. Some kid with black hair and blue eyes faced him. Probably 'Conner'. They both morphed. Conner was a titan wing Monstrous Nightmare. He had a black body with dark red stripes. Jack seemed un-fazed by this. I raised an amused eyebrow as the fight began but nethier of them made a move. It was quite for a moment until the titan wing charged at Jack, be he quickly reacted and dodged the attack, hovering over the nightmare. Jack landed begind him and swung his tail, hitting Conners side, sending him flying into the wall. I bit my lip and buried my face in Hiccups chest, not wanting to watch. His arms securly went around my waist like shield. I smiled and smuggled closer to him, if it was even possable. I heard a sickening thud and Gobber called that the match was over."Astrid..." Hiccup whispered. I caustiosly looked up at him."You can look now." I hesitantley did so to see Jack in his human form and the titan wing on the ground. Everyone clapped loudly as Jack came to stand next to us, out of breath. His chest heaved as he leaned against the wall and sunk to the floor."You alright there frosty?" Hiccup asked teasingly. He grumbled and swatted his hand in the air. Hiccup laughed slightly. There were 2 more fights until I was up. I reluctintly let go of Hiccup and made my way to the center of the room. I formed and watched as Lauren formed and got in a fetal position, ready to attack. I looked at Hiccup for reasureance. He smiled at me and mouthed. Good Luck. I need it.
Gobber signalled the fight to start, both of us prowled in a circle, never looking away from eachother. It wasnt long before she charged at me. I quickly dodged and shot out a few spines, making her jump back. I took this chance and charged at her, making her fall on her side. I went to pin her down but she quickly shot some spikes at me, causing me to retreat. I hovered above her as she hurridly jumped up. I landed a few feet away from her. Both of us charged at the same time, colliding with eachother. I managed to get the upper hand and knock her down by her neck. I swiftly stepped on her wings and peered over her. Gobber called it, announcing I won. I smirked in victory and formed, walking back to Hiccup with a large grin plastered on my face. Hiccup imediatley snaked his arms around me waist, reasting his chin on the side if mine."You did amazing" He congradulated. I smiled and hid my face in the crook of his neck, my heart pounding from trauma. There was only one fight left and it was Hiccups turn. He gulped and walked to the center of the room, the strange man stood infront of him. Both of them morphed. Most eyes were on the strange man for a second before turning straight to Hiccup. The man was a skrill, a large skrill I must say. He was only a few centermeters bigger than Hiccup, but still bigger. His eyes were a dark red much like his skin which was nearly black. Gobbers voice wavered as he started the fight. Nethier of the dragons growled as they stalked in a circle. The man finally decided to make a move, a thin streak of lightning hit the ground, a few inches from Hiccups tail. He growled in return and flew up, charging from above. The man moved but clearly, he wasnt quick enough against a Night Fury. Hiccup tackled him to the ground, pinning him. It only lasted for a second until he broke free from Hiccups grasp. The man swivled and landed behind Hiccup in a defensive position . The Night Fury whirled around quickly. Both of the dragons glared at eachother, then charged. They clashed and fought for domanince, trying to push eachother down. Hiccup quickly swivled to the side, causing the Skrill to fall on his stomach. Hiccup quickly pinned him, winning the match. I smiled as Hiccup formed and walked back to me and Jack. He was clearly out of breath as he plopped onto the ground, next to Jack. I smiled and sat down on his lap, resting my head in his shoulder."You alright there Haddock?" Jack asked cheekily, a grin on his face. Hiccup glared at him and moved his arms around my waist again, laying his hand on my lap. I fiddled with his fingers. The Skrill formed and trudged out of the arena silently. No one siad anything while Gobber checked the results."I think you made him mad". I whispered to Hiccup. He didnt say anything, he simply closed his eyes.
