I really didn't know how long I had been flying for, but I know it had been long. The Laboratory had been in the middle of nowhere, and Berk hadn't been in sight, nether had the lights. By now, it was extremely early in the morning somewhere round 2:00am most likely. My wings became stiff from the continuous flight. Then, rain came bucketing down, just my luck. I descended slowly, landing in a small clearing. Forming back would be the best of ideas, so I jumped through the trees, digging my claws into the wood. As I jumped from branch to branch, my tail curled around a brick branch at the sight of a small cave. Hesitantly, I jumped down, staying low as I crawled into the dark hole. It wasn't very big, about the size of a Monstrous Nightmare, perfect. I curled up in the smallest ball possible, pressing my back against the wall. My wings curled around me, sling with my tail. If anyone or anything walked past, they wouldn't see me....hopefully. My eyes slid shut, consuming me into blackness.
Drea-Nightmares haunted my mind.

We'd been sitting in the cove for over 3 hours now, nothing. Everyone sat in the curve of the rocky wall, either tired or asleep. The twins were dead to the world, Snotlout busied himself by messing up their hair. Heather was sat next to me, Fishlegs in the other side of her. No one said anything as the rain set the gloomy mood. I stared out at the oblivion-like Sky. Some delusional part of me expected to see a pitch black silhouette zooming towards. Forming into my gorgeous Hiccup, but those were just fantasies that hadn't come true in a long time. I could hear Heather and Fishlegs hushed whispers, and Snotlout-who had given up on the twins hair-who was having a......staring contest? With Hookfang. "Are you OK Astrid?". Fishlegs asked in a concerned tone, keeping his voice low. I didn't answer, I only nodded, never tearing my gaze from the star-less Sky. Heather sighed, I could hear shuffling from behind. "Wake us up if something happens, ok?" Heather asked tiredly. I nodded again, not caring if she didn't see me.
