Double Date

Johns POV

I wake up on the couch with Lexi cuddled up on my chest. I stand up slowly with her in my arms and then set her back down on the couch so she can sleep for a few more minutes. I walk to the kitchen so I can make some eggs and bacon. While the bacon is cooking I see Lexi standing in the doorway. "Good morning." I walk over to her and give her a quick kiss. "Good morning to you too." she says while jumping on my back. "Johnny can we go on that double date today." "Of course we can, anything for you baby." "Awww thanks honey but we still have to ask them." "Ok ill call Phil and you call kaitlyn." As Lexi went to go find her phone, I dialed Phil's number.

Phil (cm punk) POV

I just got done with my workout and I was heading to my car when I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I look at the caller I.D. to see who's calling me. It's John, why's he calling me? "Hello?" "Hey Phil I was wondering if you wanted to go on a double date." "Of course ill go on a double date with you and Aj, but there's one problem, I don't have a date." "Oh yeah about that, I'm not gonna be with Aj on the double date." "WHAT!" "Long story ill tell you later...anyways I already have a date for you." "Seriously...who is it." "You'll find out later ok now I have to go bye." Before I could even say anything John hung up. Oh well guess I'm going on a double date.

Johns POV

Babe, Phil said he'd go on the double date. Lexi ran over to me and jumped on my lap. "SERIOUSLY! YAY I LOVE BEING A MATCH MAKER!" I chuckled to myself before pecking her lips. "You called Kaitlyn and asked her to come, right? "Of course Johnny." "Well then we better start getting ready so we can go." "Ok ill be right back." Lexi jumped off my lap and ran to her room.

Lexis POV

I ran over to my closet and picked out my dark skinny jeans and the Never Give Up t shirt that I made into a crop top sometime ago. I run over to the bathroom and take a quick ten minute shower then get dressed. I brush my hair and then start my makeup.

Johns POV

I just got done getting ready, so I text Phil the address to the little cafe Lexi picked out for the double date. He replies saying he'll be there in a half an hour. Lexi's house is just a five minute walk from the cafe so she has a lot of time to get ready.

Kaitlyns POV

I'm kind of nervous for this double date thing. I might have an idea for who the person Lexi is setting me up with since she already knows who I like. Yes I like Phil but I doubt he likes me back. I finished getting ready and text Lexi to ask for the directions. When she text back the address I grab my keys and went to find this little cafe.

25 minutes later

Johns POV

"Babe it's time to go." "Ok let me just put on my boots and then we can go." "Alright now I'm ready to go." she said with a smile on her face. We locked the door to the house and started walking down the street hand in hand. A few minutes later we arrived at the cafe. I found a booth that all of us can sit at and waited for the soon to be couple to get here.

Phil's POV

I walked into the little cafe and found John and Lexi laughing and giggling at each other's jokes. "Well aren't you two just the cutest couple." I said with a smirk. "Hey Phil!" said Lexi. She got up and gave me a quick hug. A bell went off and I looked towards the door to the cafe because that always happens when someone walks in. I was shocked to see Kaitlyn walking into the little cafe. I tense up, my hands start to get sweaty and my heartbeat starts to quicken. Then I hear Lexi screaming "KAITLYN!!!!!" "LEXI!!!" they do some type of weird secret handshake then walk back over to John and I. Kaitlyn looks over at me and smiles sweetly. H-hi K-kaitlyn. "What's up Punk" she says while punching me in the shoulder. "Nothing much" I say while sitting down at the little booth. She sits down next to me and we all sit in silence for a few minutes. "Hi have you all decided what you want to order today. Lexi is the first to speak. "Ill take a small coffee cake for my boyfriend and I to share." Then Kaitlyn speaks "Ill have a blueberry muffin." The waitress looks over to me. "Ill have the same thing as her." I point to Kaitlyn. "Ok the food will be out shortly." She writes something down on two pieces of paper and hands it to me and John. I look at the paper and it has her phone number on it. I look up at John and see him ripping the paper into little pieces and then he kisses Lexi on the cheek. I just throw my paper on the ground. After sitting in silence for what seems like ever are food finally gets here. Lexi and John are feeding each other cake while Kaitlyn and I are just sitting here awkwardly. "Umm I have to go to the bathroom." I hear Kaitlyn say. She gets up and walks over to the back of the cafe. Only two minutes later my phone starts ringing, so I excuse myself from the table and head to the back of the cafe.

Lexi's POV

What's taking them so long, they've been gone for thirty minutes now. "That's it I'm going to go find them." "Ok you look over here and I'll look over there.

Johns POV

I was looking everywhere for punk and Kaitlyn and then I finally found them. I ran back over to Lexi. "I found them!" "Seriously where are they!" I grabbed her hand and ran back over to where they were.

Lexi's POV

I was in happy shock, Kaitlyn and phil were kissing hand in hand in the back in the back of the cafe. "Awwwwwwwww!!" They jumped apart and looked at me and John. "FINALLY YOU TWO ARE TOGETHER!!!!" "Yup were together, thank you so much for setting up this double date, we wouldn't be together if it weren't for you two." "No problem what are friends for." We all went back over to the table and finished our food. Then we exchanged goodbyes and John and I went back to my house.
