Marie POV
Saturday 8:49 March 26th.
Riding in the streets of Atlanta was the last thing I wanted to do on a Saturday night. Seeing kids on the corners after eight and ratchet women walking around in skippy clothing was all to played out for me. Growing up in Compton shows you alot of things. If you thing a corner store getting robbed while your in it is scary? Try having someone killed in front of you.
Pulling up in front of a three story house , hopping out of the car grabbing my suitcases. Watching damn unlock the door , I grew anxious for some reason.
He opened the door revealing a marble made floor. Taking a step into the house. When I turned to my right I seen a door. Opening it I seen a closet. Looking down the hall I notice to more doors. One was future down on the left side on the hall and the other was on the right side. I choose to look in the one across the hall. Twisting the nob I heard the big bathroom echoing my foot steps. Walking out I turn open the other door seeing that it was s den.
Making my way to find where daddy was , I seen him in the kitchen. My God! My God! Was it huge. The counter tops topped with black marble , stove laced with black and silver. I'm going to love eating and cooking in here.
Daddy was on the phone so I took the liberty to pick my room. Walk through the living room seeing that it was already furnished in a light brown love seat and long couch with a bend at the corner , making the sofas connect.
Taking one step at a time up the beige carpet covered stairs , I see 4 doors. The one at the end of the hall is a African themed bathroom. One is the master bedroom. Daddy's room. The one across from his is a Purple colored room. Purple and white is my favorite color.
Looking around my room. I smile.
"You like it huh?" Dad ask leaning against the wall. "Yeah" I whisper. "I had it designed just for you because I know y-""Dad thank you I really love it...alot" I cut of his sentence because if I didn't he'd go on and on and we wouldn't want that.
"What do want for dinner? Cause I'm not cooking" He stated watching me walk around my new room. "Can we order Chinese food please? Dad I'm begging you!"
"I should've known" He laughed. Shaking his head exiting my room. "I Love you!" I shouted. Going back down stairs , I glance at dad ordering on the phone. I grab my suitcases and project to my room. I plugged up my phone to the auxiliary cord connected to my speak playing Consideration by Rihanna.
I began to unpack my clothes putting them in drawers and hanging them up in my closet. It's was a perfect size. I could walk around in it. And because I don't have alot of shoes there was alot more room. "I got to do things my own way darling" I sung at the same tone as Rihanna. Putting the shoes I had in the closet , Work came on. That songs makes you want to dance. Dancing is so peaceful I love it.
"Work work work work work work he see mi haffi work work work work work work work" I sung along. Dancing in the mirror.
"Uh uh what are you doing?" I quickly looked up seeing dad's furrowed eyebrows. My face began to get red as a skittle. "I was uh...uhh dancing" I got out. "And what type of dancing would that be?" He ask crossing his arms in front of his chest. I remained silent. He shook his head leaving my room.
"I don't want to see you shaking your ass again!" He yelled from the hall. Of couse I know how to I just like to twerk more that's all.
Hearing the door bell ring. Made me stop and race down stairs. I haven't had Chinese food in two days and I really wanted some.
