Dan and Phil are back in Hogwarts!

6-Dan

"Dan. Dan! Daniel!" Penny said angrily, grabbing my hand, forcing me to stop. I turned towards her. "What was that?" She demanded, reaching over and tucking some hair away from my face. "He was just helping her....she's scared, and hurt, and now trembling with worry....you have to understand that" 

"But....if he hurts her....or she hurts him....that'll ruin everything. It'll throw the four of us into a deeper pit of depression....I can't let that happen." Tears were openly streaming down my face. I didn't care enough to wipe them away. Penny did it for me, reaching up and wiping them away with her thumb before standing on her tip toes and kissing me, her hand still on my cheek. I kissed her back, sliding my hand to her hip, the other behind her neck, pulling her closer.

A month passed and Domino and Phil still weren't talking to me. Domino was let out of the hospital wing that four days after the incident. Her cheek had barely healed but her concussion was letting up. There were rumors around school that they were dating. I believed them. 

About a month after the outburst, I was walking with Penny towards the lake. It was snowing out, creating beautiful scenery. Penny shivered slightly, adjusting her scarf as the lake came into view. I wrapped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her closer and kissing the top of her head. That's when we heard the scream. I looked to Penny who grabbed my hand and started running towards the direction we heard it. 

More students had gone missing through out the months and I was worried we were about to find out where they went.

I looked around as there was a splash. That was weird, the lake was frozen over. Wait! The ice was cracking! I followed the crack until I found the ice was broke. Someone was in the water! 

Whoever it was, they were thrashing, obviously unable to swim. They broke surface for a moment. Domino! "Go look for Phil" I told Penny, taking off my scarf and sweater. 

"You aren't jumping in there, are you? Dan, the water is freezing!" She cried. I kissed her quickly.

"I'll be okay" I assured her. "Go look for Phil. He has to be around here somewhere" I looked to  the water which had suddenly gone still. "Oh God" I muttered, diving in.

Even freezing didn't describe the water. I sunk towards the bottom of the lake, goosebumps across my body. I suddenly remembered my mission. Opening my eyes, I looked around. Domino was sinking, her body was limp and her eyes rolled in the back of her head. Her cheek hadn't healed much, even with the magic the school had. 

I swam towards her even though my body wanted to give up due to the coldness of the water, I felt it going stiff. But still I kept swimming, I reached out and grabbed Domino's hand and pulled her towards me, wrapping her arm around my shoulder. I pulled her along with me as I swam to the top. 

I started choking once we reached the surface. My lungs were burning and dark spots danced in front of my vision. The snow no longer seemed beautiful, I pulled Domino over the ice and pulled myself up. I turned to Domino'd limp body. Her lips were blue, her face paler than usual. Her chest wasn't moving. I grabbed her wrist and felt her pulse. Biting my lip, I started pumping on her chest. 

Penny 

I found Phil not far from the lake. He was getting the shit beat out of him by Noah who was continually kicking him in the torso, I heard a couple sickening cracks that made my stomach churn.  Phil was unconscious, his head bleeding along with the corner of his mouth. "Stop!" I cried, running towards Noah and trying to pull him back. "Please! Stop! You're hurting him!" 

Noah whirled around and socked me in the side of my head. Stars exploded in front of my vision. I sighed angrily, pulling out my wand. I pointed it at him. "Why are you doing this?" I demanded. "Who hurt you so much that you have to do this to people?!" I shouted. I heard a small groan from Phil and stepped in front of him protectively. 

"Who hasn't hurt me, Penelope?" He asked, glaring. "So much has happened in my life, I have no other choice then to do this." He snapped, pulling out his wand and pointing it at  me. "I suggest you move" 

I turn towards Phil who was obviously in pain. "SOMEONE HELP!" I heard Dan shout. I knew then that Domino and him were in as much trouble as we were. 

"I'm coming!" I shouted, turning towards Noah. "Let them go, or I'll tell McGonagall everything. I'll tell her you killed Arlo. That you attempted to kill Phil and possibly killed Domino. Those missing students? I know they're all on you. I'm not sure how you're doing all this but once I tell McGonagall? It's all over! You'll be sent to Azkaban!" 

He held his wand to my throat. "Stupefy" He glared.

That's when everything went black.
