Thunder roars thought the air. Repeatedly, thunder threatens the night. Hard rain clashes against the ground.

Castiel lies on the floor, his clothes drenched from the pouring rain. He slowly awakes, adjusting to his surroundings, and pushes himself off the ground.

Where am I? What's happening?

Cas looks around to find himself in a forest. Lightning flashes across the sky, and another crack of thunder came after.

I'm trapped in a storm? How did I get here?... And where is "here".

Cas frantically looked around to find where he was. The trees were creaking and the wind blew leaves in all directions.

He sees a sudden light and recognizes it, not as lightning, but an actual light.

Wait... There's the lighthouse... I'll be safe if I can make it there... I hope... Please let me make it there...

Castiel starts to push through the rain and wind, up the hill, to reach the lighthouse. He slowly got to the top and when he did, he looked towards the ocean where he saw a tornado headed towards the city.  He had finally made it to the light house.

Holy shit.

The tornado was huge. The reality of it got worse the longer he looked at it.

Instantaneously, a boat came flying out of its massiveness and crashed into the lighthouse.

Whoa! No!

Cas brought his arms above him as the lighthouse started to collapse. Falling right to where Cas was, and he was unable to move out of its way.

Whoa.

Cas had found himself darting upward, out of sleep, and in his class.

That was so surreal.

He ascertained everything going on.

Okay... I'm in class... Everything's cool... I'm okay...

His teacher was carrying on his lesson. He saw a group of snobby girls hassling a friend of his, Sam. One of the girls' phones, Victoria, started vibrating vehemently. As if it were screaming for her attention.

I didn't fall asleep, and... that sure didn't feel like a dream... Weird.

Cas liked his photography class, but sometimes it can get a bit boring. He then looked at his note pad and then to a photo that he had taken for a submission to the "Everyday Heroes" contest their teacher wanted them to participate in.

The photo was of him in his dormitory. He set it up so that the focus wasn't on him, but rather all the different Polaroids that were set up on his wall.

Look at this crap! How can I show this to Mr. Shurley? I can hear the class laughing at me now.

He then proceeded to look at his journal that he kept.

If anybody else looked at this, what would they think.

Cas had found his way to his camera. He got it and proceeded to take a picture of himself. There wasn't really a reason why, he just wanted to do it. But unfortunately, his teacher caught him. I mean who wouldn't be able to see that, with his big instant camera.

"Shh, I believe Cas has taken what you kids call a 'selfie'... A dumb word for a wonderful photographic tradition. And Cas... has a gift."

Cas slowly put his camera back on his desk, crimson creeping to steal the space on his cheeks.
