"So.."Arjun dropped me back to my home this time.

"So.."I looked at him

"Won't you ask me to come in?"He asked me

"Yes, "I nodded.

"Thank you"He got down from the bike and walked inside.

Mom welcomed us both with a warm smile and asked about our other friends.

Then we told her about my day celebrations and showed all the selfies we took.

She smiled at us and went on to bring something for Arjun.

"What?!"I am utterly clueless about his glance.

"Nothing, "He smiled widely.

"What"I too started laughing without any proper reason.

"Why are you laughing?"I asked him.

"Smile and Tears are two things which are truly two things you can't hide from......."He trailed off soon hearing the footsteps of Mom.

"Have this"Mom handed him a glass.

He sipped the juice and indulged in a talk with mom.

I am tangled up in my own thoughts. What would be the last word in his sentence?... I am smiling madly, but trying hard to cover my enthusiasm.

What does he want to say? I asked myself again.

I looked at him once and felt butterflies in my stomach. What kind of magic this is?! I am smiling at his smile.

He turned to me suddenly. It took a second for me come into consciousness.

"Then I will leave now"He stood up ruffling his hair. I felt like pinching his cheeks.

"Okay!"I stammered.

"See you Aunty!"He waved at mom and left us soon.

Mom excused herself and went into the kitchen, leaving me and my thoughts alone there.

I moved lazily into my room. I got changed into formals and started thinking about the day.

"Do you Love him?"I asked myself.

"Yes!"I said without any second thought.

"Then what are you waiting for?"Another question.

"I don't know,"I answered honestly.

"Should I propose him? Isn't it too early? Just a year. That too we were friends"I felt weird for a second.

"Are you still awake? "Mom came in suddenly.

"Yes, "I nodded and rolled to her edge where she is sitting on the bed.

"What?"She ruffled my hair.

"Who did propose first, Dad or you?"I asked her.

She stared strangely at me and answered me smiling widely.

"It wasn't a proposal at all"She looked at me and continued.

"I was very comfortable with his family, Ha! Our family. So He once asked me to marry him as it is difficult to find a girl who is so amicable to his parents"She laughed.

"I can't believe this, "I am shocked.

"True"She laughed again.

"I thought it was a love marriage"I exclaimed.

"Of course it is!"She nodded.

"You are confusing me"I screamed.

"It's simple, we gave a chance to our friendship, it blossomed into love gradually, We felt the spark in each other"she sighed.

"You both are colleagues, Right"I took her hand in

"Yes, we used to work at the same place. I felt a kind of warmth in our relation, He too noticed it. Your grandma and I shared a very healthy relation. I felt and treated her like a mother before I fell for your Dad. Everything was perfect"She said smiling a bit

"You miss him, right? I too miss dad a lot"I am controlling my tears.

"He is with us.I never think such"She said after a second.

"Love you Mom!"I hugged her.

"Love you Darling!"She gave a warm hug back.

"Sleep, "she took my hand into her and gently patting it rhythmically.

"I have to tell him"I slowly drifted into peaceful sleep.

I never thought it would be the only peaceful night left in my life. What had happened tomorrow was truly unexpected and heartbreaking.

Next day

I woke up early in the morning. I am eagerly waiting for him. I want to go to college as early as possible.

"I have decided that I need to give a chance to our friendship"I sighed at my reflection in the mirror.

"Acquaintance turns to beautiful Friendship and Beautiful Friendship can blossom into an everlasting love"I remembered my Mom's words.

"May be she is right, "I smiled.

"It was proved in her life"I nodded before myself.

"Don't worry!"I smiled at my silly chat with my reflection in the mirror.

I headed towards the college with a new hope and a smile.

I am truly unaware of what is happening in the college for a second.

I thought I had entered a carnival for a second.

College is filled with balloons all over and colour papers.

Everyone is dressed in enchanting colours. Few wore traditional and few wore trendy dresses.

I entered the auditorium few seconds later, It just looked like a heaven for a second.

Something is going on here, I am feeling like I am in the wonderland. I walked towards the dais and saw my crush there holding a bunch of red roses there in the middle of the stage kneeled down.

"What is happening "My heart missed the beat for a second.

"Juliet!"Some one came and hugged me from the behind.

"Sowmya!"I yanked at her touch and saw her there standing beside me.

"I love you!"Arjun jumped from the dais and stood before me holding my favourite roses.

"what...?!"I kept a blank face and looked around.

"Say yes!"Sowmya pinched my hand.

I looked around qnd saw no one....Arjun and Sowmya are alone there...I don't know what to say?
