Babbysitting Lux

Maddie's P.O.V.

*Day of the Funeral*

I really liked Lux she seemed to be always happy and a ball of energy. Tonight all the adults where all going out to dinner, even though im considered an adult I didn't really want to go. So I volunteered to babysitt Lux.

Standing in my living room Lou asked me, "Are you sure you can stay with Lux? I can bring her with me."
"Positive everything's going to be fine, I'll call you if anything does happen."

"Okay, I will be back before eleven. She doesn't really have a bedtime but she will most likely fall asleep around nine, you should give her a glass of warm milk if she won't fall asleep"

"Alright anything else I should know about before you leave?"

"Oh yes here is my number"

"Okay perfect, don't worry about us, Lux will be perfectly fine! Otherwise you will be told, okay? Have fun!"

"Okay. Thank you for doing this. Bye love *kisses Lux on the cheek* Bye Maddie!"

"Bye!!"

"Ok Lux what do you want to do?" I questioned the small child "Can we watch a movie? But no Toy Story Li-Li and me's favorite movie." she blubbered "Of course" I said, not really worrying about who "Li-LI" was."Lux? Do you want to make some snacks before we watch the movie?" "YES" she yelled in an adorable English accent.

"What's your name again?" Lux asked me. We ended up laying on my bed asking each other questions.
"My full name is, Madeline Elizabeth Anderson"
Do you have and bwothers, or sisters?"
"I have two brothers Derek and Chris, but they are older and moved away with their girlfriends. They visit sometimes..... I have bunch of cousins but there is only three girls and their about twelve and I grew up with boys." I looked over and realized she had gotten bored by my story and wasn't next to me anymore, but shuffling through my makeup bag.

After a while it was 8:30 I changed Lux into her Pj's and warmed up some warm milk for her. I played a movie on Netflix, twenty minute later Lux was out and the milk was gone. I surrounded her with pillows so she wouldn't fall. I cleaned up the kitchen and had a snack it was around ten and Lou was at the door with my mom and step-dad. they bid us goodnight and went straight to bed. I went to get Lux with Lou trailing behind me, before I got to my room I asked "Lux mentioned someone named "Li-Li" if you don't mind me asking who is that?"
"Oh he is someone I work with that Lux knows" once we got Lux Lou started to ask me question "Your mom told me you where into fashion and styling?"
"Yes I am"
"Well that is what I do, I am a stylist for a boy band, and I've been looking for an assistant would you be interested? Your mom showed me some of your work and it's very good."
I was shocked. Was she joking? "Are you serious that would be great." I yell whispered remembering Lux was sleeping. "Great how about I call you tomorrow and we can talk about it over lunch?" "Perfect" I said happily "See you tomorrow thank you for Lux" "Anytime! Goodnight"
This day just got so much better!
