Everything Has Changed

Chapter 2

-(Y/N)'S POV-

Day by day, Karry became even closer with Axel & all his friends. Jackson, Roy and I really hated that fact. But of course, it didn't break our friendship.

One day, the fourth of us sat in one table (just like usually) while we were having a break at school.

We were talking many things but suddenly our topic changed. Karry started talking many things about Axel. He also said that Axel was very kind to him.

I could see Jackson and Roy rolled their eyes to each other. They got up from their seats, and then left the two of us. Well, no wonder.

"Wh-what's wrong with them?" he asked me.
"I have no idea," I lied, even though I knew what their reason.

Finally, at the class, Karry was about to ask a question to Jackson and Roy. They just ignored him. But when it came to me, they always answered my question, which made Karry felt confused.

After school, the fourth of us went to the parking area. Jackson and Roy walked to their car, then turned to Karry and I, but they just said goodbye to me. Meanwhile Karry still smiled and them and said goodbye to them. But they just ignored him.

After that, Karry drove me home. When we arrived, then we said goodbye to each other.

Like about 7 pm, suddenly somebody's car stopped right in front of my house, such a familliar car. And yes, just like I thought, it was Karry.

I opened the front door and saw him with his backpack.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked.
"Can I stay here, please? Just for a night?" he begged.
"WHAT?!"
"Ssh! You'll make your neighbours feel annoyed."
"Ok, well, but why now?"
"My parents won't be home tonight because they have some-yeah you know. They're very busy."
"Who's that, (y/n)?" (suddenly my mum came out)
"Hi, auntie!" greeted Karry with his usual smile.
"Ah! Hi, Karry! Oh my, what are you doing there? Come in, come in!" continued my mum.

After we got into my house, my parents invited Karry to have a dinner together. While we were eating, Karry explained why he was there and asked for permission to my parents. Well, of course, it would definitely be a YES.

After eating, I guided him to an empty room beside my bedroom. He said that it was deja vu that he remembered stayed there in my house, like about many years ago. I just laughed a little. Then, I returned to my bedroom.

At 10 pm, I entered Karry's room, just to check what he was doing right then. He was still up.

"What?" asked Karry.
"No. Just checking," I smiled. "Good night."

I got out from his room.

"Wait," Karry grabbed my hand.

I turned to him with a confused face. There was silence between us for a while. But then he began the conversation.

"I promise you, (y/n). I will always be with you, also with Jackson and Roy, although they're a bit different these days."

I starred him and he starred at me. I really had no idea what it meaned! What made me even more confused was he hugged me.

Well, based on what he said, I could get what he was saying a little bit. I felt a bit sad to hear that he still wanted to be with us.

After he releasing his hug, I returned to my room and slept.
