Everything Has Changed

Chapter 9

-KARRY'S POV-

I couldn't believe that it was already Monday. I woke up very very late and brought my breakfast and went to school immediately. When I arrived at school and got to my class, I realized that I had forgotten something really important. And I really did!

I forgot to pick up (y/n)!

I was a bit panicked but I thought that she might be order a taxi or something to get to school. Besides, it was useless if I got back to her house because the bell would rang in a few minutes.

But until the beginning of the class, she hadn't come yet. I looked at the clock over and over again, wondering where she was right then. I could also see Jackson and Roy's faces.

Finally, when it was time to have a break, I went to the principal's room.

*knock*

"Come in, please."

I opened the door and entered.

"Excuse me. I want to ask you about (y/n). She is absent today. Do you know why, sir?"
"Hm, what did her parents just say today? Hm... Oh, yeah. You haven't heard it, have you? She's moving to Korea."

WHAT? She... she left China? But why? How about her school? It was the second semester of the first year in high school. And why didn't her tell me earlier?

"Oh, alright. Thank you so much, sir."

I got out of that room and sighed. I lost all my energy all of the sudden. Anyway, I told Jackson and Roy about this and they were as surprised as me! We were very sad to hear that our best friend won't be with us any more.

"Maybe she's still mad at you," said Roy to me.
"Impossible, she won't be leaving just because of a really little problem," I replied.
"Yeah, you're right. May be you should ask her what the reason is," said Jackson.
"Well, I'm quite afraid actually," I said again.
"Come on, you're her childhood friend, aren't you? You both get to know each other very long," said Roy.
"Ok. I'll try."

Day by day, (y/n) didn't come to school. I was always together with Jackson and Roy. Well, I kinda miss her, though. Wherever we went, we always thought about her, every single day.

I still asked myself why she didn't tell this to me that she wanted to move to Korea. Was what Jackson and Roy had said true? Was she still mad at me?

When it came to practicing, I still thought about her. I felt really guilty to her for not listening to her that night. But there was still 2 best friends, Jackson and Roy, who always supported me and cheered me up.

-(Y/N)'S POV-

Well, here I was! In here (Korea), I tried very hard just to forget Karry. But it was not easy.

By the way, originally, I moved here because my dad worked here for a year. Not very long, huh?

Every night, I always thought about (y/n), holding my phone in front of me. I wanted to ask her about her moving so bad, but I always failed. Ah, what should I do?

Time flew really really fast. It had been a year after (y/n)'s moving. Many things had changed just in a year.
