Relationship Status: It's Complicated

PROLOGUE

*Ring! Ring!*

"Hello."

"Casey, this is Paul. I'm gonna tell you this real quick. Pia's birthday is coming soon. I just wanna surprise her. She misses us real bad so, I was thinking that we should get together just for her birthday."

"Okay. I'll go tell Haley."

"Sure. See you in a bit."

Casey and Paul hung up and started preparing.

"La la la la la la-"

"Who could be calling me when I'm in the middle of rehearsing?"

"Hello?"

"Jacob, it's Paul; look, Pia's birthday is coming and I was thinking that we should get together and surprise her."

"Well, I would love to."

"Thanks. See you later. Prepare well, and make sure to carry with you a bunch of money."

"Why?"

"You'll see."

"Okay, see you later.

*Rrrrriiiiinggg!*

"James, can you get the phone?"

"I can't. Hunter pooped. I have a business going on here."

"Fine, I'll get it."

"Hello? Who is this?"

"Heidi, this is Paul. Can I speak with James?"

"Oh, he's cleaning Hunter up."

"Can you get him? This is an emergency."

"Okay." Heidi placed down the phone on the kitchen counter and started to go upstairs and look for James. Heidi entered the bathroom and smiled. "I'll finish that. Paul's on the phone, he's waiting."

"Sure, thanks." James said with a smile and came running down the stairs. "Paul, I'm sorry it took forever."

"Hey James, I'll make this real quick. Pia's birthday is coming and I got a plan… she misses us so much and I was thinking that we should get together even just for her birthday."

"Okay. I haven't seen her since forever! I'll go buy a ticket to LA now. I better tell Heidi."

"Okay, bye."

"Take one and action!" the director shouted. Karen started to deliver her lines when her manager came to the director and whispered something to him. The director nodded. "Cut!"

Karen stopped and her manager walked towards her. "You have a phone call. He said it was an emergency."

"Oh, who was it?"

"He said he's Paul McDonald."

"Oh, okay."

"Hello?"

"Hi, Karen! Look, Pia's birthday is coming and I want us to get together even just for her birthday."

"Okay. I'll go tell Lauren...we'll have lunch together. Oh, and Scotty too!"

"Okay, good. I'll see you later."

"Where is our meeting place?"

"At the airport, we'll pick James up there."

"Okay, I'll see you later."

"Mama! You have a phone call." Naima's daughter told her as she handed her the phone.

"Hello?"

"Naima, this is Paul. Pia's birthday is coming and I want us to get together once again even just for her birthday."

"Okay."

"Better prepare now…we'll meet up at the airport later."

"Okay. I'll see you later."

"Bye."

"Stefano, I want you to go out and do not continue touring with me." Jennifer told Stefano.

"What? What did I do wrong?"

"Nothing, Stefano…it's just that Paul called and he said that Pia's birthday is coming and she want all her Idol family to get together even just for her birthday."

"Oh."

"Paul also said that the meeting place would be at the airport. So you better go now…because the others might be already there."

"Okay, thanks for telling me."

"No problem."

"Thia."

"Oh, mommy…what is it?"

"Paul called and he told me that Pia's birthday is coming and he want all of the Idols to come together and celebrate with Pia."

"Okay. Where is the meeting place?"

"At the airport…today. So, you better get your butt off of the couch and start heading to the airport. They might be waiting for you already."

"Okay. Bye mom!"

"Bye!"

Paul, Casey, Haley, Jacob, Karen, Lauren, Naima, Stefano, Scotty and Thia are already at the airport waiting for James' arrival. Soon, James finally arrived. "Guys, I missed you all so much!" James exclaimed as they did a group hug.

"So, what's exactly the plan for Pia's birthday?" Lauren asked.

"Uhm…I was hoping that you guys would agree with my idea." Paul started.

"What is it?" Stefano asked.

"Since we all have excellent jobs and we already have that enough money…I was thinking that we should live together." Paul answered.

"What do you mean we live together?" James asked.

"Living together…in the same house…we can buy the Idol mansion!" Paul exclaimed.

"Yeah, that would be great!" All of them agreed except for Naima and James who already have families on their own.

"What about Heidi and Hunter?" James asked.

"Uhm…yeah, that's one of my problems actually." Paul answered. "Maybe, they can tag along." He added.

"I'll just ask Heidi…now." James said as he took out his cellphone from his jeans pocket and walked a little farther from the Idols. After a few minutes, every Idol's fingers were crossed; hoping that Heidi would agree with the idea. As James was walking towards them, every Idol's hearts were racing. "She agreed! She said yes…she's okay with it in one condition," James said. "She made me promise that I won't lose contact with her." James added.

"Aww..Of course, you won't lose contact with her. You can call her anytime, James." Casey said as he pats James' shoulder.

"So, ready to invade the Idol mansion and buy it?" Scotty asked.

"Let's go!" Everyone shouted. They loaded inside a van Paul hired and drove towards the Idol mansion.
