CHAPTER ONE

The Idols bought the mansion without Pia having no clue about it. Paul instructed all the Idols to prepare for Pia's birthday.

"So when exactly is Pia's birthday, again?" Jacob asked.

"October fourteen." Lauren answered.

"Oh so it's tomorrow! Okay guys, double time." Jacob said. All Idols laughed at him.

"Guys, I better go. I'll go to Pia's condo and prepare her for tomorrow." Paul said as he exits the mansion. As soon as Paul was out, the Idols started talking about Pia.

"I wonder how she looks right now." James said.

"Yeah." Stefano agreed.

"How come you guys haven't seen her? She's always on TV." Haley asked.

"Hales, I've been busy with my family and career that I haven't had that much time to just sit back down and watch TV." James answered.

"Me too, I've been touring with Jennifer for months." Stefano said.

"Well as you can see, if Pia's gorgeous since the last time you saw her, well, she became more gorgeous. It's a good thing Paul have her because even celebrities are chasing after her." Lauren said.

"Really? I can't wait to see her!" Stefano exclaimed.

"Pia and I haven't lost connection. We use to have dinner together with some other Idols." Karen said.

"Well, you guys are all lucky you still got to see her." Stefano said sadly.

"Don't be sad, Stefano. You still got to see her tomorrow." Casey said as he pats Stefano's arm.

Scotty noticed James' sudden change of expression. "Dude, you okay?" Scotty asked.

James nodded. "Yeah sure, I'm fine." he answered.

"Nervous?" Scotty asked.

"Huh? For what?" James asked confusingly.

"Seeing Pia after a long time." Scotty answered.

"Why would I be nervous?" James asked as if he doesn't care if he's going to see Pia again.

"Come on, James. Admit it, you're nervous…you can't deny the fact that you once fell for her. Of course, who wouldn't be nervous to see the girl you once loved?" Scotty said.

James sighed heavily. "Fine, I'm nervous. I don't know what I'm supposed to do or say when I come face to face with her." James confessed.

"Don't worry. I'm nervous, too." Scotty said as he placed his hand on James' shoulder and gave it a light squeeze.

"I just hope that it won't be too awkward tomorrow." James said before letting out a long sigh.

"C'mon." Scotty said as they joined the Idols at the big couch on the living room.

"The place looks awesome!" Thia said as she looks around the place which was decorated for Pia's birthday. "She would love this." Thia added.

"Anyone wants snacks?" Naima asked.

"Yeah." All Idols agreed. Naima went in to the kitchen and started preparing snacks for her 'children.'

Paul arrived at Pia's condo and found it locked. He took out his own key to Pia's condo and unlocked it. He directly went into Pia's closet and took out everything inside and stuffed it inside Pia's luggage but Paul left a few clothes for Pia to wear for the day. He also prepared Pia's outfit for her birthday tomorrow. Before Paul came back to the Idol mansion, he left a note for Pia.
