Knights vs Shellfish.

"Miyoko.." Mikoto knocked on the door of the room 'Mike' was supposedly staying in. "Are you in there? Come on.."

"N-no! I was an idiot! I hit papa!!" Miyoko's voice sobbed from within the room.

"Miyoko.." Mikoto said. "He doesn't hate you.. come on.. seriously."

Ben stood next to Mikoto, looking rather confused and annoyed.

"So.. my daughter from the future comes, she tells you who she is.. but you don't tell me."

"I didn't know until we went to take a bath." said Mikoto." Gwen figured it out when Mike-I mean Miyoko, was walking by. Gwen has the ability to sense mana, you know that, and she could tell that she was a girl masquerading as a guy.. and  so she told her to take off the disguise, and it went from there."

Ben nodded. "I see. I want to talk with her."

"Ben.." said Mikoto.

"Mikoto.. it's not what you think.. well. you see.."

Ben looked at Mikoto, his eyes unusually sparkly. "MIKOTO!! I HAVE A LEGACY!!!"

"Eh?" said Mikoto.

"I HAVE A KID!!" said Ben, grinning. "HAHAHAHA!! And she's got your good looks!! I know now that my future life is set!"

Mikoto sighed, and smiled. "Well.. I actually didn't think about that.. But it is wonderful I guess."

That's when the door opened slowly.  Miyoko peeked out. "I'm sorry. I'm a bit embarrassed, but.. er.. hi."

"KIDDO!!" Ben yelled, holding out his arms.

"WHAP!" Mikoto smacked Ben in the back of the head. "Hey! You're scaring her! Keep it down a notch!"

"Indeed, calm is the best way to handle it.." Kanzaki walked out from where she had been strolling down the hall. "And.."

"WHACK!!" Kanzaki smacked Ben on the back of the head. "That was for peeking."

"Oh come on!!" Ben said. "You KNOW that was an accident!"

"So you are Kanzaki." said Miyoko. "I heard about you."

"You never meet Kanzaki in the future?" said Mikoto.

"No.. she died when Diablo came.. in the future, it's.. well.. let's just say it's really bad.. and, I came back to change that if I could." said Miyoko.

"Bad..?" Ben said. "Define Bad."

"The entire world is a complete apocalypse.." Miyoko whispered. "A wasteland.. ruled by a ruthless god. A god who not only killed nearly everybody we know and love.. but a god who is also compeletly undefeatable.. He killed Accelerator before I was even born.. followed by half the Level 5s.. then over the years.. slowly one by one.. everybody was picked off.. till Touma, Mama, and Papa were the only ones left of the original ones who fought."

Everyone was silent. Ben stared at Miyoko, completely speechless.

"Th-then.. when I was four, Uncle Touma and Papa disappeared.. we knew they were captured, so we tried to find them.. for 10 years... I never gave up hope.. and finally, I found Papa.. but.. "

Miyoko shook her head as tears plipped down from her eyes. "He was supposed to be the one to go back in time.. but.. it didn't turn out that way, instead, he sent me, not only to create some hope.. but to save my life."

"I.. did that?" Ben said. "Or.. er.. Will do that?"

"Yeah." said Miyoko. "You're.. all taking this pretty easily.. I was expecting some more.. er.. surprised reactions?"
