Rain's POV

The bell rang for school to be over and I ran out of gym. Into the long halls with bunched up group of people eager to get out the doors. I finally made it out alive. Wait..yeah I still have all my bones. I was scanning the place for Elena and found her about to leave school.
" Elena!" I yelled.
She turned around then smiled and waved me to come over so I did.
" Hey Lena." I grinned then pulled her into a tight hug.
" Hey Elle." She said as she squeezed me.
" Are you coming to my party this Saturday?" She asked.
" Sure, won't miss it. Where is it gonna be anyway?"
" My place at 8 pm." She responded
" Okay. Cool. I'll be there Len."
A car honked behind us and Elena turned then shot a smile then turned back.
" Good- Well- I gotta go I'll see you at the party." She rushed.
" What about tomorrow Thursday?"
" No school remember some Jewish holiday." She replied back.
HONK!
" Sorry I gotta go girl!" She hugged me then zoomed into the random car.
Wait..ugh it's Damon's car.
I scoffed then dragged my feet to the side walk and the car was already gone full speed away from the school.
I wouldn't blame anyone from wanting to get as far away from this place as possible.

I arrived at my house then plopped into my desktop chair.
" Dad I'm home!" I shouted.
I think your wondering about what happened to my mom, well long story short she walked out on us and took my baby brother with her and never came back. This all happened when I was 11 so I went through a stage.
Anyway I'm over it. It's just me and my dad and whatever the world has to offer.
" Hey Sport! I'm glad your back. How was school?" He wondered while running in place.
That's my dad for ya always trying to stay in shape in case my mom comes back he could look " younger."
" It was okay dad. And I'm glad I'm back too. I missed you." I said while getting out of my chair pulling him into my embrace.
Mistake number 1.
He smelled like armpit.
Mistake number 2.
He kept moving make me smell like armpit.
I pulled away after a few minutes and jogged upstairs.
Throwing my uniform into a hamper sliding on my jump suit as my phone vibrated.
I picked it up and it read " Unknown "
So I slided it open and replied back to the message.
