Chapter 1

"Did you see Joy's outfit today? I am so jealous!" My best friend practically shouted.
"You know I don't like Joy and don't care about what she is wearing , Elycia." I almost snapped.
"Okay, okay! Jeez! Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed!" Elycia said, jokingly jabbing me in the side with her fingers.
Elycia has really pretty blonde hair that come down to her hips with crystal blue eyes that go perfectly with her flawless hair. She comes up to my chin when she is standing next to me. I, on the other hand, have light brown hair with emerald green eyes. She is wearing her favorite black shirt with her blue denim jeans and black converse. She always looked good no matter what she wore.
"I'm sorry, E ( my nickname for her). I just have a headache right now. Say, do you want to get ice cream after school? I found this amazing place and its really heavenly. Its like the ice cream instantaneously melts in your mouth." I suggested.
"Okie!!!" E squeeked.

The ice cream was amazing. What happened wasn't. Apparently Joy ( yes the annoying one) decided to show up. It did not go well at all.

"What are you doing here, dorks. You don't belong here. Hey Elycia, where'd you get that outfit, Goodwill?" Joy sneered.
Now you see why I hate her? Shes evil.

"Go away Joy. We don't want you here." I said in a low growl. E nodded her head instead of talking, for fear of releasing the tears she was holding in.
When Joy finally left, after calling us loosers, I looked over at E and said,"Don't worry, E. She is jealous that you have Jeramy and she doesn't. You know you are really pretty. Don't let that bitch get to you." Then I took her into a bone crushing hug and wiped away her tears which fell while I was talking to her. To lighten the mood, I tickled her under her armpits.
"Hahahaha! Stop! Can't bre- hahahaha!" E squealed while I tickled her. She finally grabbed my wrists and softly punched me in the arm. "You're right. What would I do with out you?" She asked looking up at me.
"I don't know, find a new best friend to replace me. Although, no one can replace me." I added with a wink and giggled.
"Haha, okay. Let's go home." Elycia said, leaning into my shoulder.
