*Alyssa's POV*
As we walked back home, with Elycia's head in my shoulder, it started getting dark. The sunset was an orange-pink with the cherry blossoms soaking up the last few rays of sunlight.
"Hey Alyssa? Can I ask you something?" E questioned, though it was more of a I-don't-care-what-you-think-I'm-going-to-ask-anyways type of statement.
"Yeah?" I asked, a little shocked she used me by my first name. She usually calls me A for a nickname. She barely calls me by my full name so I was a little shocked.
"Why do you hang out with me?"
I stopped walking and turned her around.
"Because we are best friends and if I didn't have you, I would have lost my sanity with all those popular people that think they are better than everyone else. Why do you ask?" I questioned.
"I didn't know if you truly think of me as your best friend because sometimes it's hard to tell, especially when you get snappy. I guess I just feel like I'm being used." She stated as if it was nothing, but the look in her eyes told me it was anything but nothing.
"I'm really sorry.. I haven't thought about that. It's just I have so much going on with everything that I haven't had time to think about, well, anything really. I really feel bad. No matter what, we will always be best friends. Even through our ups and downs." I promised.

*Elycia's POV*
After our talk we walked home. I live with my mom and two sisters, Amber and Liliah. As soon I walked through the door, they both tackled me as my mother stood and watched with a grin about as big as the Jokers.
"Geez guys I love y'all too. Did you guys miss me?" I asked, getting them excited.
"I did!! Where were you?!" Liliah asked, giving me a glare.
"With Auntie Alyssa. We decided to have girl time with each other." I said, as I scooped up a stealing Liliah into my arms and ticking her.
Liliah and amber are twins but Amber is the oldest because she was born 5 minutes before Liliah. They are both 4 turning 5 tomorrow. Liliah has always been my girl. Amber, on the other hand, was always a mommy and daddy girl.
"But you said I could go with you and Auntie Cia!" Liliah stomped her foot.
"Sorry. Maybe we will take you to the mall with us soon. We will see." And with that, I said hi to mom and took a shower and went to bed.
