Orcas Trust (A Tilikum Story)

Chapter 3: the harmonica and a new friendship

Samantha's pov:
Today was day two of my job and I decided to bring my harmonica to play with while I was with Tilikum after training. I got everything and left my house locking the door behind me, I drove to SeaWorld thinking about how cool it is to have my own whale, as soon as I parked my car where I parked It yesterday I get a call, I quickly take my phone out and saw it was my boss "Hello ma'am" I said "Hello Samantha I heard about everything that happened yesterday with you and Tilikum I knew you where special" she said "thank you ma'am" I said thru the phone "your welcome I am actually going to be there around noon to see how my other employees are doing with there whales as well maybe I could stop by to see you and Tilikum as well" she said "yes ma'am I will be ready when you arrive here" I said "good bye Samantha" she said "good bye ma'am" I said as we both hung up and I got out of the car and locked it as I went inside the building. "Hey Samantha how are you doing today" Kelly said as I walked in to the building "great and you" I asked "same" she said as I smiled at her. Me and Kelly got into our suits and went out side "alright today you are going to learn how to get on the whales" she said as I nodded "watch me" she said as she went towards her orca and got on him then they went for a spin around the huge tank and came back, then she blowed a whistle and gave him a fish "you always want to reward them with fish" she said as I nodded " your turn" she said as I got on the whale. As soon as I got on I heard Tilikum going crazy as he started hitting the railings that led him out of the place he was in, "calm down Tilikum" I said as I got off the other whale and walked towards him. He had settled down a little after I got off the other whale and that's when I realized that he didn't want me to ride on the other whales "you don't want me to ride the other whales do you boy" I said as he shook his head no making water go every where. After training I went to where Tilikum was with my harmonica and started playing the instrument, Tilikum started to move around in his little tank as I played the instrument, when I was finishing Tilikum leapt out of the water and soaked me "jee thanks" I said sarcastically As he started to spray me with water using his mouth then I heard a clapping noise and I turned around to see my boss and Kelly standing there clapping at me "that was amazing, when did you learn to play the harmonica" Kelly asked as my boss agreed with her "a few years ago" I said as I was rinsing out my now soaked hair "Well it seems you gained a new friend" my boss said looking at Tilikum "yea I guess so to" I said as I bent down and petted him then we shut off all the lights and left home.
