Chapter 18: Seeing Tilikum/ going into labor

Recaps: we got home and I went to put the stuff away as I told more like demanded Samantha to sit on the living room and watch TV.

6 months later

Samantha's pov:
I woke up today with an arm wrapped around my waist and a hand laying on my belly, I was currently 9 months pregnant and about to give birth soon "Damon wake up" I said as he grumbled "go back to sleep Samantha" he said, Damon worked night shift so he had gotten home a few hours ago "move your hand please" I whispered "fine hurry up" he said sleepily as he let go of me and I went to the bathroom, after that I layed back down and he wrapped his arm around me and placed his hand on my belly again.
I touched my belly and felt them kick and I smiled 'I can't wait to hold you in my arms little ones' I thought as I heard Damon snore lightly and I giggled, after an hour my belly began to grumble and I knew I had to eat, I slowly removed Damon's hand and layed it next to him then I got up and walked out the room closing the door behind me as I saw Damon shifting his position and I knew it wouldn't be long before he knew I was gone.

Damon's pov:
I shifted back to Samantha's side and felt cold spot and I jolted up looking around then I smelled food and I knew she was in the kitchen. I got up and went down stairs, I walked towards the kitchen and saw Samantha and I went up behind her and wrapped my arms around her belly "good morning babe" I said as I kissed her head "good morning Damon" she said "why didn't you wake me up" I asked "because you where to tired so I decided to come down and make breakfast" she said and I smiled, when she was finished we ate and I helped her clean the dishes "you go back to sleep Damon I will be here in the living room" she said as I looked at her and raised an eyebrow "I'm not gonna go and layed down Damon I really don't feel like it" she said "fine" I said as I kissed her and went upstairs to our room layed down and fell asleep.

Samantha's pov:
I went upstairs to find Damon sleeping and I knew this was my only chance to leave and go see Tilikum, I quietly closed the door and left down stairs, I put my sandals on and went out the door.
I got to SeaWorld and parked where I usually do then walked in "Samantha what are you doing here" Kelly asked as Clarissa looked at me and her eyes widened "is Hunter or Adam here" I asked them ignoring Kelly's question "no why" they asked "good I'm going to see Tilikum" I said as I walked out ignoring the girls.
"Hey boy" I said to Tilikum who looked at me and waved, "what are you up to" I asked him as I held my hand up and he jumped to it and I petted him, I smiled at him "it's good to finally see you again bud" I said as he nodded a yes. All of a sudden a wave of pain went thru me and I screamed in pain, Tilikum looked at me then started making loud noises almost like if he was calling someone for help, then I felt water leaking down my leg and that's when I knew I was in labor, "KELLY" I yelled and a few minutes later I saw someone I wasn't expecting running towards me "Damon" I said "why did you come here I specifically told you not to come here" he said angry and worried at the same time, I turned my attention to Tilikum who looked at me then nodded a yes almost like if he was agreeing with Damon "come on let's get you to a hospital" Damon said as I nodded and went with him. I got into his truck and he quickly got in and raced towards the hospital, when we got there he parked and shut the truck off then quickly ran towards my side and opened the door and helped me get off, when we got inside we where quickly escorted by the doctors and nurses "we need to get her to the labor room immediately" one of the nurses said as Damon grabbed my hand and came with me, we got inside and the nurses rushed in getting everything ready "alright sweety we need you to breath in and out then push" said one of the doctors as I nodded and did what they said and a few minutes later out came a baby boy, the cord was wrapped around his neck and he was crying, the nurses quickly removed the cord from his neck and what they said next literally broke my heart "he has breathing issues we need to get him a oxygen mask quickly" one of the nurses said as another rushed to get the mask, they came back with the mask and put it on him as another nurse helped me finish giving birth to another boy with the same problem.

Damon's pov:
After I heard what the doctors said my heart sank down, they finished helping Samantha give birth as the other baby had the same problem.
We where now in a room and I heard Samantha sob, I quickly got up and rushed to her side "are you ok babe" I asked her "this is all my fault" she said as tears started to fall from her beautiful eyes "hey don't say that it's not your fault" I said as I felt tears falling from my eyes "yes It is if I had listened to you through first time none of this would have happened" she said "Samantha listen to me I understand your pain but we need to pull thru this and work together ok we have to believe in them and hopeto God that they survive which I know that they will ok" I said as I saw tears streaming down Samantha face and what she said next angered the crap out of me, "how could you even love me when I probably killed our babies because of my foolishness and stupidity" she said "don't you ever say that again you didn't do anything wrong nor would you ever do anything like that is that understood" I said angrily "yes Damon" she said still upset, "mr and Mrs Jacobson" the nurse said as she walked in "yes that's us" I said "is our babies ok" Samantha asked "us there fine" the nurse said as I smiled and Samantha cried tears of joy 'thank you god' I thought to myself "but there is one thing" the nurse said as I gulped and braced myself for the worst "they have a breathing issue and is required to have a oxygen tank to sleep and they will not be able to run nor play any outside games that requires running" the nurse said "alright thanks" I said as I looked at Samantha and she was still crying "I'm really sorry" the nurse before she left "do you want to go see the babies" I asked her as I grabbed the papers that I put on the counter wheen the nurse gave it to me to write the babies name down "yea sure" Samantha said as she started getting up.
When we got to where our babies where my heart nearly shattered at what I saw, they where in an incubator with oxygen masks on "Damon look" Samantha said pointing to the baby in the left and I smiled as I saw him move his little hands, there was a number 2 written on the paper that was on the incubator "we should name him Ethan Jacobson" Samantha said as I smiled and wrote it on the paper that said baby no.2 "and that one in the right side should be Aiden Jacobson" she said as I wrote it down in the other piece of paper then signed it along with Samantha.
