Ezra's POV
We waited, and waited, and waited for her to wake up. She never did though. It had been almost a month but she was still unresponsive. The doctor was meeting with me today to talk about some things we could try. I knew his news would most likely be bad. I had no idea how bad it was....

"Sir, we need to take her off life support." He said seriously. I nodded and turned around.

"I know this is hard to hear." He said putting a hand on my shoulder. I sniffled and took his hand off my shoulder.

"What time?" My voice breaking.

"What time do you want?" He asked me. I gave him a time.

"2:00 pm." I said weakly. He nodded and left the room. I sat down in the chair next to her and held her limp hand.

"Please wake up." I said twirling her hair around my finger. There was still no movement.

"Please." I pleaded with her, my tears falling on her face. She still wasn't moving. I cried harder and harder until it was time.

"Whenever you're ready." The nurse said soothingly. I gave her a kiss before I pulled it. All you could hear was the noise of her flat heart. I just stood there watching the flat line. A tear rolled down my face as they left. I grabbed her cold hand and kissed it. I got into the bed and rocked her lifeless body. I didn't leave for a long time. They eventually kicked me out and I ran out the door and to my car but I didn't make it. I was hit...
