Reflections

Chapter 2

First a women walked in then a man. Then a girl with a cast on her arm and two boys who must be twins because they look identical. But the boy I saw earlier was still in the hall with his hands in his hands. I don't know but i get this feeling that i wish he was in here. The girl and the twins stand right by the door. But the woman and man come to left side of my bed.

"Hi, how are you feeling?" The woman says. I tell just by looking at her she's how hurt she is that this has happened.

"Umm...tired." I say sitting up in my bed. Everyone laughs a little bit and I kinda smile.

"Well I think you should know who we are before we tell you anymore." Says the man.

"Yeah that would be helpful." I say while smiling a little.

"Ok well this is Jessic but you used to call her Jess." He says as he points to the girl with the cast. "And those are the twins Dylan and Danny. And I'm your Dad, Jerry. And this is you Mom, Beth. Jessica is 16, the twins are 17 and you are Sarah Ally McCall you're 14 almost 15. Your birthday is October 21. The date today is August 8, 2013.

I nodded "Ok thank you." I really didn't know what I should say,

"Do you want to know what happened?" Asked Jess.

I looked at my mom and dad. I didn't want them to get anymore upset by hearing the story again. "Umm...no not really. I'm kinda tired anyway." I answered.

"We should let you get some sleep. But I still think someone should just stay in here with you. Jessica can you stay?" My mom said.

"Yeah, of course." Said Jess.

Everyone started leaving and Jess sat down in the chair that was wear the boy was sleeping. It's the only one in the room.

"Who's that in the hall?" I said looking out the window.

"That's Charlie Jackson. He's sorta one of your best friends and boyfriend." She says with a smile. "Sorry it's just weird you having a boyfriend." She says laughing. I laugh a little too.

"It's fine. Can you tell me about the accident? I just didn't want to upset mom and dad, ya know." I asked looking out the window at Charlie. He was talking to the twins.

"Yeah. So you loved to go the beach and swim, surf, play volleyball or just go to the peer. Me and you would go almost everyday. But we were driving back one night and it wasn't even dark out but we were driving down the road when the car on the other side of the road starting swerving and came into our land and hit us head on. We were both wearing seat belts but it didn't matter he was going 20 miles over the speed limit. And there was nothing I could do. But I just remember how hard he hit us and the car flipped over and went on the side of the road. I had injuries but when the ambulance got there you were sorta knocked out. They took me and you both to the hospital. I got surgery done on stomach," she said as she lifted up her shirt so I could see her bandages wrapped around her waist. "and I had a broken arm." She says as she help me her pink arm. "You were asleep for 8 days I think but you pulled though."

"Wow. Do you remember what the car looked like that hit us?" I asked

She shook her head "I don't remember, that guy hit us so fast..." It was silent for a few minutes. "So do you want to watch TV or something?" She asked.

"Yeah sure." I said. As she picked up the remote and turned the TV. "Ya know its weird I remember some stuff, like TV and some other things."

"Well do you remember this show?" She says she says as she changes the channel. "This was your favorite show." I looked up at the TV. It showed a talking sponge in a pineapple that lived user the sea.

"Yes! Isn't this Spongebob Squarepants. I remember this show." I said while laughing.

"I can't believe you remember this." She said while laughing with me. We watched it together. We turned to different channels and I remembered all of those shows. A couple times a nurse came in to give me medicine.

"Are you hungry?" I asked Jess.

"Yeah. I can go get food from the cafeteria downstairs. But the doctor your only suppose to have healthy food like a salad or something. So is that ok?" She said.

"Yeah that's fine." I say. She walks out the door. That's when I realize no one is out in the hall. Maybe the went to eat. I don't know what time it is. I lay down I wish I wasn't so tired all the time. I finally close my eyes and fall asleep. I don't know how long I'm asleep for but I heard the door open and close. It must be Jess with the food. I rub my yes and sit up a little. I finally open my eyes. It,s not Jess that's came back, it's Charlie.
