I groaned as someone knocked on my bedroom door. "Go away!" I yelled sleepily. The offensive knocks died away and I began to drift back to sleep with a satisfied smile. However, my satisfaction was short lived. Instead of leaving me alone, whomever was knocking on my door was now pounding on it. Knowing I wouldn't be able to sleep until I answered the door I rolled over to sit up, didn't realize that I was already on the edge of my bed, and fell right onto the floor. I laid there for a few seconds to try and wake myself up enough to get off of the carpet that felt rather comfy to my exhausted body.

I tried to get up once, twice but kept falling back down. Finally on the third try I was able to actually, you know, sit up. It felt as if I had only gotten a couple hours of sleep. I reached up and blindly felt around for my cell phone so I could check the time. It was a habit of mine to look at the clock before I went to bed or if I woke up. For some reason I couldn't get back to sleep if I wasn't aware of the time. I squinted at the screen and even blinked a few times to make sure I was processing the time correctly. Two A.M. I did only sleep two hours.

"Dear God, what does he want now?" I asked myself as I forced my exhaustion away and picked myself up from the floor.

I shuffled to the door, my feet dragging. I jerked the door open to see Dimitri, roommate, mortal enemy, and and royal pain in my ass, standing there with a smirk on his face.

He was tall, muscular, and I hated to admit it to myself-good looking. Black hair, sun kissed skin, and deep blue eyes. "What do you want?" I asked irritably as I folded my arms across my chest.

"Top of the morning to you Sunshine." He said with a fake Irish accent. "You're looking pleasantly rumpled and possitively glowing! Did you have some wild dreams of me?"

"Yeah, I did." I muttered.

Dimitri's eyebrows rose and he grinned. "Was it hot and sexy or sensual and steamy?"

"Liberating. I was filled with so much satisfaction as I ran you over with my car." I said keeping a straight face.
Dimitri's smile faltered. I didn't have the energy to grin. "What do you want Dimitri?"

"I need your help." He said trying to look sheepish.

"What could you possibly need help with at two in the morning?" I was too tired to stand up straight so I leaned against my door frame. "I need you to help me take a friend of mine home." I rolled my eyes. A typical Dimitri move. "Why can't you take him home yourself?"

"He and I have both been drinking. I don't want to get a DUI." Dimitri said seriously. I groaned and wiped my face with my hand. I should have known this would happen again. "You have got to be kidding me. It's after two and we have school tomorrow! Not to mention, I have cheer and work after school. This is the third time in two weeks, Dimitri!"

"Sorry hot stuff. Hurry and get dressed. I'll buy you whatever you want to eat for a week." Dimitri said as he walked away leaving no more room for me to protest.

I screamed in frustration and slammed my bedroom door pointedly ignoring Dimitri's laugh as I made my way to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I splashed my face with water and dried it with a hand towel. As I did so, I caught sight of my reflection in the mirror. My long brown hair was in a lopsided pony tail. My purple-yes purple-eyes looked tired and had small bags underneath them.

When I realized Dimitri had called me 'hot stuff' my cheeks flamed red. My boyfriend didn't even call me that. I looked at my body. I wasn't the most beautiful thing on the planet, but I could pass for pretty. I was average height, still short compared to Dimitri; my head only came up to his shoulders. My body was toned and slim, from years of cheer leading, with curves in all the right places.
