Researched in Google.

The twelve Gods of Olympus were the greatest Gods in the Roman Pantheon. They were Jupiter, Neptune, Pluto, Vesta, Juno, Mars, Minerva, Apollo, Venus, Mercury, Diana and Vulcan.

There were other God besides them, and Cupid in one of the more popular ones.

Cupid is a prominent figure, especially during Valentine season. He is the son and constant companion of Venus, and he is usually represented as a mischievous winged boy armed with a bow and arrows. He shoots these arrows into the bosoms of Gods and men to work their desires.

Did he ever grow up? Unlike Peter Pan, he did.  When Venus bewailed that her son was always a child, Justitia (Themis to the Greeks, the personification of divine justice) Told her that this was because Cupid was alone, and that if he had a brother, would surely grow quickly. Thus Anteros (The avenger of slighted love) was born and Cupid began to grow rapidly in size and strength.

Cupid later became the husband of Psyche,  a lovely mortal maided that was cursed by Venus because her beauty was said to surpass that of the Goddess.
