Lucy's POV
I watched as Evita walked with Uncle Mianite, who shot me a dirty look as he walked past me. As soon as the two left, Ash Ketchum, Fox-girl, and Tom looked at me again, not saying anything.
I finally snapped, "What do you want?!" I demanded, angrily. None of them answered, they just stood there silently. "Yeah, I have the worst Dad in eternity! I have 'the blood of evil'!"
"Exactly." Tom said.
"Oh, like you can talk!" I exclaimed, "You're his champion."
"She's got a point." Ash Ketchum said.
"Shut up." Tom muttered.
"I don't think you're evil." Fox-girl put in. Ash Ketchum and Tom stared at her. "Look, Evita trusts her, we should too."
"Evita's a bit too trusting." Ash Ketchum said, glancing at Tom.
"What's that supposed to mean?!" Tom demanded.
"Let's not fight!" I cut in. "What are your names, Ash Ketchum and Fox-girl?"
Fox-girl laughed and said, "I'm Sonja and this is Tucker."
"Way to blow my incognito fun." Tucker muttered.
"So, Lucilla, why does Evita trust you?" Tom asked accusingly, his arms crossed and his eyes glaring into my own and he said my name like it was evil.
"She trusts me because she knows I'm a good person. She trusts you too, so I'm going to try and get along with you." I snapped, my voice full of venom.
"I hope you do." Evita said, coming out of the building alone, Mianite had obviously gone.
"Evita, what did Mianite want?" Tom asked, sounding worried.
"Well, he gave me this." Evita pulled out a dagger, it had sharp edges and the word 'Justice' engraved on it. It glowed with a dull, purple light as she held it. "It's enchanted."
"Cool." I said simply. Tom gave me a threatening look that I sent back.
"Have these two been doing this the whole time?" Evita asked Sonja and Tucker.
"Yep, pretty much." Tucker said with a sigh. "But, I haven't been any better."
Evita sighed and shook her head, "Let's try and get along, please." She pleaded.
Tom seemed have been bottling up anger and snapped. "She's his daughter! Dianite's daughter!" He yelled, gesturing at me.
"That isn't her fault, give her a chance." Evita said, obviously trying to calm Tom down.
"Fine." Tom spat, "Just don't expect us to be best friends."
"I'm not, just, don't kill each other." Evita pleaded.
"Agreed." I said.
"Agreed." Tom repeated.
"Good, I need a break. Don't kill each other, don't burn anything down, just... avoid each other." Evita said.
Evita's POV
I walked past them, sighing to myself as I saw Tom and Lucy glaring at each other. I walked up to Sparklez house and knocked. "Jordan!" I called. He opened the door and smiled. "I'm going to the end, want to come with me?"
His eyes lit up and he nodded. "Of course." He ran back in an got a sword. We walked in silence to the end portal. Jordan was bouncing on the balls of his feet. I let him jump in first and followed after him. I felt the cool air whip past me as I was transported to my dimension.
The endermen greeted me, bowing as I walked by. They looked at Jordan and he looked back, but they didn't attack, because I looked at them fiercely when they tried, warning them not to attack him.
"I can't believe I'm in the end with the daughter of my goddess." Jordan said, after a while of silence.
"You better believe it." I said, "Watch this." Jordan watched me as I went to the edge of the void. He looked at me with worry as I reached the very edge. I took out my new dagger and pricked my finger. I let the blood drip into the void and a tornado of wind. I realized how powerful this magic was and got a new idea. I closed my eyes tight and thought of my Mum.
The sounds of the end stopped and I opened my eyes. I could still feel the wind around my body, but it had made a vision. I saw my Mum, chained down, covered in splats of blood, covered in dirt, and looking very injured.
"Mum!" I cried, wanting to run to her, but I knew I couldn't.
"Evita?" She asked, looking up. Her mouth curved into a smile as she saw me.
"Are you okay?" I asked her.
"I was worried about you. Dianite has been smug lately, and I don't want you to suffer like I have." She responded. "Promise me you'll stay safe."
"I promise." I said, tears making their way slowly down my cheeks. "I love you, Mum!" The vision started to slowly fade and I was brought back to my body. The swirling wind stopped and I landed on the cold stone, exhausted. My hair had fallen over my face and through it I could see Jordan running towards me.
"Are you okay?" He asked worriedly, offering his hand.
I took it and stood up, brushing my hair out of my face. "Yeah, I just talked to my Mum."
"You talked to Ianite? How is she?" Jordan asked eagerly, but he also sounded worried.
I smiled at him, trying to seem supportive, "She's fine." I assured. Jordan let out a breath and his muscles visibly relaxed.
"Does she... does she know I exist?" He asked, seeming hesitant and like he only half wanted the answer.
I considered this question before answering, "Well, she knows she has a follower, she just, doesn't know it's you."
