The silver dragon soared above the trees, the sunlight reflecting off her scales. Her three smaller children followed behind her. The silver dragon flapped her powerful wings, creating an echo among the clouds. She opened her mouth and blew out fire, which took the shape of a heart among the clouds. The three smaller dragons flew through the heart, scattering the flames to the wind. Their mother screeched slightly, scolding them for flying through the heart. They squeaked apologetically, and darted ahead of her.
The silver dragon turned, heading back towards her home. Her children would be fine on their own, and would be home before midnight. She landed, not very gracefully, in her homes backyard pond, shifting into her human form.
Kat emerged from the water, dripping wet and laughing. She walked up to the shore and dropped down next to Alec on the blanket he was sitting on. Her blue shirt clung to her small frame, and her jean shorts were tight with water.
"I think I need to work on my landings," she said, laying down to look at the clouds. Alec lay next to her. Her three dragons soared overhead, play fighting over a branch.
"I thought it was fabulous." Alec poked her in the side, and she giggled.
"Were you serious about the whole getting married thing?," Kat whispered quietly.
"Do you want me to be serious?," Alec asked her, his voice slightly concerned.
"Of course. I would love to marry you. I just didn't know if you actually meant it because you were tired from...yeah.." She laughed awkwardly, sitting up.
"I'd never meant something more." He sat up as well, his hand on her back. She smiled shyly at him, and he kissed her.
"I guess I'll have to tell the girls I need a dress," Kat said with a sigh, leaning into Alec's shoulder.
"Well of course. Now why couldn't I get you this wet last night?" Alec pulled away from her, already bracing himself.
"Alexander!," she exclaimed, jumping up from the blanket. She chased him around the yard, letting him think he would get away, before pouncing on him and pushing him in the water with a playful grin.

Magnus walked through the halls of the institute, seeking the company of a certain British vampire. For a long time, Magnus hadn't allowed himself to truly develop feelings for anyone, but somehow Enzo began to tear down his barrier.
He felt open around him, and wanted to really get to know him. When he first saw the vampire, shyly standing in the doorway, he had been taken by his looks. But as the weeks since Kat's return went on, Magnus found himself more and more attracted to Enzo, not just for looks, but how he acted. Confident, yet shy. An aura of contained power radiated from him, and Magnus could tell he cared deeply for those he was close too. He also could figure out that Enzo had strong feelings for Kat, who was very much in love with Alexander. Magnus wanted to make Enzo replace the feelings he had for Kat with feelings for him.
"Enzo! What a pleasure to find you here!," Magnus said confidently, strolling into the piano room, where Enzo sat on one of the couches, a book in hand.
"Magnus," Enzo said, his eyes full of shock. Enzo still didn't understand why the warlock was so set on talking to him all the time.
"Do you play?," Magnus asked, motioning to the piano. He sat down on the couch next to Enzo, pulling the book from his hands. He made sure to mark the vampire's place before setting it on the table.
"Not much. Kat taught me a little back at Wes'. But it never really stuck," Enzo's face flushed, and he looked away from Magnus' gaze.
"Speaking of Katerina," Magnus said, placing a hand on Enzo's leg, "how are the two of you?"
"What do you mean Magnus?," Enzo asked. To Magnus' delight, he didn't move away from his touch.
"I mean, your feelings for her," Magnus said. He snapped his fingers, two cocktails appearing in their hands.
"Magnus its 10 in the morning," Enzo said, staring at the drink in his hand.
"It's happy hour somewhere biscuit," Magnus said, waving his hands dismissively. "Now, answer my question."
"She's happy with Alec. I didn't understand how happy they were together until we got here." Enzo took a small sip of his drink, his face scrunching with the strong taste of alcohol.
"That didn't answer my question," Magnus said gently, his hand moving slightly upwards. "How are your feelings for her?"
"There still there. I loved her for years, I can't just forget that. But, they are getting weaker." His voice got quieter on the last sentence, and Magnus smiled. He moved his hand from Enzo's leg, and pushed a small hair out of the way of his eyes.
"I understand. And remember, it's nothing to be ashamed of," Magnus told him, standing up.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Enzo replied softly.
"You will," Magnus said with a wink, strolling from the room.
