The First Battle

Ace POV

It had been about 2 months since the war was declared and there had been no battles yet.

I looked at Rockee as he tried to look intimidating. In all all honesty he looked adorable.

Daddy! I heard Rockee's tiny voice in my head.

Yes sweetie? I said back.

Werewolf pups aged faster than humans. In about another week or so he would turn into a 4 year old boy.

Mommy is laughing at us...

I turned to see Oli sitting on the steps to the house smiling and chuckling.

What are you laughing at? I sat and tilted my head.

"Just how cute you two are." He began. "Let me guess, fighting practice?"

Yeah Daddy is teaching me how to beat the meanies! Oli chuckled at our son and walked over and picked him up.

"You don't have to worry about the meanies, okay?" Oli hooped Rockee's nose.

I chuckled. He was growing up so fast. He was only about 3 months old but he was actually 3 years old in human years so he acted it.
Oli looked at me and smiled gently. He looked at Rockee and sighed.

"Are you hungry?" Oli asked Rockee.

Yes Mommy!

Oli nodded and took Oli inside to, more than likely, make Rockee some Beef Stew in a can. Its gross but Rockee loves it. I went inside before going to my room and turning human and putting clothes on.

I wrapped my arms around Oli's waist. He leaned back against me and finished cooking Rockee's stew and handing it to him.

Thank you Mommy! Rockee thanked before he began eating.

"Oli!" I heard Kyle yell. "Hide Rockee! They are here!"

Oli's eyes widened and he quickly took Rockee to Felisha who would hide him as I changed wolf and ran outside and faced the 15 wolves in front of me. We were out numbered 11 to 15.

Oli stood beside me his perfect white fur shining in the early morning light.

I growled at him and they charged. All I could do was hope that Oli and Rockee would be ok.
