She stares at the man.
Tears in her eyes.
He hasn't noticed her yet.
He's in for a surprise.
She watches as children cower in fear of being his prey.
As much as it may hurt her she will be courageous today.
She will save lives even if it means risking her own.
She will save the innocent and she will be strong.
She closes her eyes and says a quick prayer.
She jumps into action.
The man's vision becomes unclear.
He loses balance shots are fired in the air.
She tells the frightened children to exit and not to be afraid
They leave taking a last glance at their hero.
The last shot was fired and it hit the woman in her heart.
She smiled she saved them and she knew that was worth what just happened.
She took her final breath with a smile.
The woman overcame fear and built courage and bravey in it's place she made a difference and saved young lives.
Those kids will always remember her and she will always watch over them.
As the courageous woman that help out the innocent.
