I looked at my history and sighed, how many sites have I opened? I even stumbled on a few dating sites.

The thing is, I can't even connect these points to her!

I blame Jaden for this, for all of this.

Is it this hard to see if a girl likes you?

"You get it so far, Mai?" I asked the short black haired girl. Her hair tied into adorable pigtails, her brown eyes glared down at her homework.

"I get it, but I don't get it... Do you get what I'm saying?" She looked up at me with her big brown eyes in confusion. I just nodded and ruffled her hair.

You see, I tutor Mai, an adorable elementary school girl. I do this to save money for my collage funds, but instead of me going to her house, she comes here.

'We have a son, and we're afraid that you'll get intimidated by his looks-- he's kinda scary, scares off Mai's friends sometimes-- and Mai gets distracted by him too much'

That is what her parents said. I don't mind, but I still don't get why. Is he like some kind of bully or something?

I looked at the clock to see the tutor session has ended.

"Ah! Look at the time Mai!" She looked at the clock and threw her hands up in happiness, grinning from ear to ear.

"Yay! I get to go home now!" She giggled, and I did what I usually do. I call her parents to tell them that we're done.

They know the time, but I tell them just in case they did forget, like a few weeks ago where they forgot.

I dialed her mother's number, but suddenly the said number I was dialling, popped up. An incoming call.

"Hello? Jaelyn? Yes, umm... I couldn't pick up Mai today because of work... Would you mind walking her home? It's not that far and Mai knows the way" Her voice was frantic and I could hear the rings of phones in the background. I agreed and told Mai.

"Then let's go!" She giggled, pulling my hand and walking out the door. Leading me to her house.

I laid down on my bed, trying to process everything. I don't even know why I'm getting so worked up with this.

Ding! The doorbell rang, I guess my little sister's home. I walk down the stairs of the empty house, my mother is working, so is my dad.

I opened the door and was tackled by a small girl, who is my adorable little sister.

"Kai-nii! I'm home!" She says in her adorable voice, she still calls me with Japanese honorifcs, which is cute.

"Welcome home Mai!" I said as I picked her up and lifted her up to my shoulders.

"Kai-nii! She's Mai's tutor! You never meet her so now, meet!" I laughed and looked at Mai's small pointer finger which was pointed infront of me.

I turned, and there she was.

Jaelyn 'Goldfish' Cutter.

She did the goldfish thing again.

Oh, that's no bully.

Kai? Why is he in Mai's house?

Wait.

Mai Fukuda.

Fukuda.

Kai Fukuda.

I smiled at him, which he chuckled at. It probably looked awkward as hell.

"Care to come in first, Jae?"

"Oh, no. I should get going" I tried to sound normal, but what was that little squeak at the end?

He chuckled and nodded.

"Oh ok then, thanks for taking care of my sister for me!" He bowed a bit, a Japanese tradition I guess?

I copied his movements, which was probably stiff and awkward.

"Well see you tomorrow, Jae!" He grinned and took his little sister inside. I nodded and walked away, far- far away from that house.

A/N ー Short update as long as I still update! Urghhhhh.

Kai-Nii means Big Brother Kai.
Nii is a shortened word for Onii-chan, which means Big Brother.

So, Kai Onii-Chan.

Voila! Kai-Nii! Yay!
