I looked at Mai who was looking up to me with her large brown eyes.
"Kai-Nii... You okay?"
I shook my head 'no' and slid down the door.
"Umm hey, Mai? Does Jae like someone?" Mai looked at me, tilting her head to the side.
"Mai doesn't know..." I smiled at her and ruffled her hair.
"I have some pasta in the kitchen ready for you... Go and eat okay?" She grinned and jumped.
"Yay! Kai-Nii's pasta!" She ran into the kitchen. I followed her, taking out my phone from my pocket.
I texted Jaden, the running back who filled me up with false hope of Jae liking me.
Why was I so curious of the answer? I just wanted to know, I guess.

I groaned as Jaden completely ignored me, I watched Mai eating the pasta in front of me.
For a small kid, she has impressive table manners. She holds the utensils perfectly and chews with no sounds.
Guess who raised her.

I walked back home, still trying to process what just happened.
So, all this time, I've been tutoring Kai's little sister?
Oh wow, and I just realized now?
Stupid Jae.
I unlocked my door and flopped down the couch.
"Rough day?" I recognized the familiar voice and glared at her.
"Why the hell are you here? Hailey?" She smiled and shows me the spare key I hid under the mat.
"You should keep it somewhere else you know?" She grinned and flopped down next to me.
"Weren't you supposed to be on the way for a concert right now?" I asked, remembering she was hyped for this one K-Pop group coming here.
"Oh BTS? That's tomorrow... I'm meeting my husband tomorrow, It's been such a long time since I've seen him" She sighed dreamily, at the thought of her 'bias'.
Who was it again? Kim Taehyung?
"Who was it? Kim Taehyung?" I asked, only to receive a shocked look from her.
"Honey, I love that you remembered but you say it as 'Gim Tehhyeong'" I nodded skeptically, not really getting the difference.
"So today, Kai was-" "Kai from EXO?" "No."
I sighed and started to explain my day to her, which was hard since she decides to throw in 'K-pop references' here and there.
"So that's my day..." I sighed, but then she shoved her phone in front of my face.
"Look at him and his aegyo, cheers you up right?" It was a picture of Kim Taehyung, doing this 'aegyo' or acting cute, I guess.
"Hailey, please" She sighed and turned off her phone.
"Sorry the hype is still there... So! All this time, you just realized Mai is Kai's little sister?" I nodded sadly.
"Wow, You're slow..." I looked at her and she looked at me with a slightly disappointed look.
"What?"
"Everyone knows Mai is Kai's little sister! I mean, he constantly show his friend, Jaden? her picture and keeps saying how 'Cute Mai is' and so on loudly in the cafeteria..." I tilted my head in confusion.
"Really?" She laughed and hit my shoulder.
"Yes really!" I slapped my forehead, was I this stupid?
"Okay so back to BTS..." "Hailey, no..."
