"Greetings and welcome back, now that you have finished both chapters and viewing both sides I shall now finish our little blast to the past. Now then ......."
The two sides managed to reach an agreement and decided to meet at a peaceful planet named Haven where there were lush green fields with colorful flowers blooming and a cool breeze blowing over. There were only very few people who live on the planet most of which were farmers or fishermen. It was a peaceful planet thought the Olympians perfect for a Diplomatic negation although the Corrupted Olympians had a different plan. When the two leaders arrived they disarmed themselves, told their guards to wait in their ships, and then sat in a small gazebo with a view of the fields and a small village nearby. Everything was going smoothly or so they thought for in the small village the Corrupted Olympians were preparing to assassinate both leaders.
Just as they were about to fire the Insurgent leader noticed the reflection of light from the scope of the sniper. The Insurgent leader pushed the Olympian leader away from the line of fire but the Insurgent Leader got shot in the process. The guards heard the gun shot and rushed to the gazebo to see the Insurgent leader bleeding out. The Insurgent guards quickly rushed their leader back to the ship started to prepare for takeoff. The Olympians decided there was little they could do there and so they did the same. What the 2 factions didn't know was that there were bombs on both of the ships set by the Corrupted Olympians. Back at the village the Corrupted Olympians saw what was happening and decided to activate the bombs via remote detonation. The two ships exploded killing both leaders, the Corrupted Olympians thought that all their problems were over but soon, very soon they will realize the havoc they have caused.
When the two leaders never came back the two factions saw it was a declaration of war and thus started The Extinction. The two sides fought each other in a bloody war. The Olympians had technology and training while the Insurgents had cunningness and strength in numbers. The two sides were in a stalemate, both were desperate for anything to change the war in their favor. So they started researching all they can, studying each other, improving their weapons, but when one side would gain the upper hand the other would equal the playing field. That is until both sides exhausted their resources and the dead was far greater than the living in numbers.
Overtime the human race was able to flourish again with the guide of a new organization known as the Imperials. Formerly known as the Olympians, the Imperials ushered in a new age of order and peace throughout the entire galaxy but of course not everything is so one sided. Due to the war the Corrupted Olympians realized their mistake and wanted to atone for it. Seeing new organization and its ways on maintaining order the Corrupted Olympians saw only a gun pointed to everyone's head. So they decided to rebuild the Olympian organization but remembering their grave mistake they sought a new name, Olympus.
"And so end our little time travel to the past. Seeingthat you've made it this far I presume most things make sense now."
