with all the right words he's gonna say
he's gonna keep her for another day
another night, another year, her whole life
It's all she's ever known, the right word will make her stay, any time she tries to run he pulls her back for her another day
is this all that's left of her
is this all life's gonna be
the rest of it seems hopeless
for she never will be free
but that's not what's gonna happen
that's not what he's got planned
so the next time you see her
don't whisper, scream and shout
that her life will turn out better
that it all will turn around
