That day, I can't wait for it.
That day when I wake up and you're beside me
That day when we sing songs and mess around while making breakfast
That day when we do everything together
That day where out of nowhere we have a water gun fight
That day when we cuddle on a couch in silence
That day when I never have to feel lonely
That day when we hug and I can hear your heartbeat
That day when I can feel safe in your arms
That day where we lie down and look at the stars
But until that day, there's going to be ups and downs
I'm going to be with other people
I'm going to cry, heartbroken over each one
I'm gonna whisper to myself "when will he come"
And I will think of the future
Of that day when you are with me
That day is when I'll be complete
that day is when I'll realize all the waiting was worth it
That day when I can tell the right person " I love you" and never stop
