Toby didn't know why, but he felt even more empty, he felt even more broken. He got no sleep that night, only adding to his growing insomnia. He looked up as he could see light shining through his heavy shaded window. He leaned his head back, wondering if it was all a dream, a nightmare. He knew it wasn't when he stood up and felt weird in his lower region. He stretched as he headed for the bathroom to clean himself up, to try his best to tape himself back together.
The sixteen year old washed himself up, washed his tear stained face. He looked in the mirror, he looked so drained, so tired. He hung his head low as he shuffled back to his room and to his desk, where his mask, goggles and hatchets sat, along with the mask that Masky had forgotten, another reminder of the night before. He slipped his mouth guard on along with his goggles and his belt that his hatchets were attached to. He grabbed his hoodie off the floor and put it on over his black turtle neck. He took a deep breath in, and walked out of his room.
Toby made his way down the stairs, he walked to the kitchen and looked around. Kelly was fighting with Jeff, they obviously hated each other, fantasizing about tearing the others throat out. Hoodie was sitting at the table, his mask partly up so he could drink his coffee. Jack was probably sleeping, he was always more of a night creature, lurking in the shadows. Ben was probably in the TV, or in some ones computer trying to scare them, and Sally was probably roaming around the halls of the mansion.
"I'm gonna shove this knife so far up your ass, you'll need to get a fucking C-section to get it out!" Jeff growled.
"You better take that back Fuckface!" Kelly's eye twitched.
"Make me, bitch!" Jeff spat back. Kelly lunged at Jeff, making a grab for his raven black hair. He easily dodged, which resulted in Kelly smashing against the table and Jeff slipping on some spilt juice. Jeff slipped around for a few seconds before finally smashing his face on the counter with a bang and hits the ground, while Kelly was steadied herself from smashing her head against the counter.
"Hah hah!" Kelly laughed at Jeff as he pushed himself off the floor.
"Next time the knifes going down your fucking throat." Jeff growled, standing up.
"W-w-what's for breakfast?" Toby asked, taking a seat at the table.
"What d'you want for breakfast?" Jeff asked, looking over at Toby.
"S-something s-sweet." He said thoughtfully, swinging his legs back and fourth like a child waiting for the school bell to ring.
"He doesn't need sugar this early." Masky said, walking into the kitchen and brushing passed Jeff to get to the fridge. Toby noted that he was wearing his mask, he must've went back to his room before coming down.
"Well what else is gonna keep him up, asswipe?" Jeff growled at Masky and grabbed his arm in a threatening manner.
"It's f-f-fine Jeff..." Toby said, and Jeff let go if Masky.
"Wise decision Woods." Masky said, and pulled the milk jug out of the fridge.
By the time Masky had made his coffee, Kelly had wandered off, Hoodie had gone to one if the offices in the Slendermansion and Masky had found the newspaper, and Jeff, well he was trying to figure out how to use the microwave. Toby however, was busy trying not to burst into tears. His mood had swung again, leaving him on the edge of breaking down I front of one of the one who did things to him he'd rather not speak of, and the one he trusted more than anyone, even more than himself. Several minutes passed, and so did that mood, which was replaced by a happy bubbly one.
Jeff by now had given up and put a plate of half microwaved pop-tarts in front of Toby and sat down in the seat across from him.
"Y-you w-w-w-were microwaving p-poptarts...?" Toby asked, raising a brow at Jeff and laughing slightly.
"Better than that God awful fucking toaster." Jeff grumbled.
"Next time you should plug it in dumbass!" Kelly yelled from the living room.
"Pull your head outa your ass first then I'll consider it!" Jeff shouted back.
"Only if you put your head up yours! Cause that face is fucking nasty!" Kelly yelled. Within seconds, Jeff was after Kelly.
Toby laughed a bit, even though when you got Jeff angry it meant fatal wounds, he still found it a little amusing, funny even. His smile quickly vanished as the white frosting on the pop-tart jogged his memory from last night. He sighed and leaned his head on his hand, which was propped up by his elbow that was on the table. He wished that it was what the fangirls thought it was, what most people thought it was, pictured it as, he wished that Slenderman was as nice, and caring as everyone made him out to be, he wished that there were laughs everyday, that it was like one of those cheap family comedies, like they were one big happy family of killers.
But they weren't, and the things and feelings, were constant reminders that it will never be. It will always be broken, he will always be broken, they will all, ALWAYS be broken... They will all, always feel empty and lost. His hope, for that other world, where every thing was perfect, was slowly vanishing, along with his energy to keep on pushing through it all.
