💄ALEX'S P.O.V💄

"Al go feed Bruno before he wonders off again," my dad shouted from downstairs. Out of annoyance I rolled my eyes and ran down stairs. At the bottom of the step I saw my hungry golden retriever hanging his tongue. I continued walking to the kitchen with the hungry dog trailing behind me. I went on my tip toes to get his food from the cupboard, when I was frightened by Bruno's out of character barking. I turned on my heel to see why he was suddenly getting a fits I then noticed he was barking at the door. I walked over to the door and I was surprised to see a pair of red eyes staring back at me. The eyes suddenly disappeared and all I could see is a shadow running quickly into the distance. I then turned around to see my dog was as frightened as I was. Bruno growled in a low tone then he ran straight through the doggy door.

"I can't believe you let him run off like that," my dad said with a mixture of scowling and a worried look on his face.

"I'm telling you guys I saw someone out there, I couldn't just run after him." I was about to say something else but then my mom cut in to add her comment.

"Honey there is no one else up these parts of the country side, I think you should go for Bruno before he hurts himself." I then sighed in defeat I walked to the front door and peeked outside. I turned the knob and looked back dramatically at my parents hoping they would feel bad about letting me go but only seriousness was printed over their faces.

"Bruno! Come on! I have searching for you about an hour now," I screamed out into the dark, scary forest. Every step I took and every word that slipped from my mouth was echoed in the forest and that struck fear in me. The night has fallen and I still haven't found that hyperactive dog. I then saw the figure of my dog laying on a stone in the distance. I instantly ran up to him but then the same fear took hold of my body again. I stared at my dead dog laying in a pool of his own blood. It was evident that he was attacked but what kind of animal could have done this? Loud sobs and shrieks escaped my mouth.

"M-mom!!! D-d-dad," I stuttered from lack of breath. As I reach a closer view of the cabin I saw that the door was opened. I rush in and started to call out for my mom and dad. I walked all over the cabin while I simultaneously screamed their names. I only had one place to check and I was almost sure they were in there. I pushed open the kitchen door and started to speak "Bru-Bruno is......". I looked up then let out an ear splitting scream. I ran over to my parents life less bodies but then I noticed no blood surrounded them but it looked like an animal attack. I held on to their bodies and shouted "Nooooooo, please wake up," tears ran down my eyes like a water fall as I held on to my parents for dear life. I suddenly felt the same feeling I had earlier today when Bruno was barking, someone was watching me.

I had barely any energy left to turn around but as I did so, slowly, I felt a quick movement and then there was a sensation like needles piercing the skin at my neck. I cried out in agony and then everything went dark.

Guys I'm so sorry that this chapter might be boring and short but I promise when I start to feel the story it will definitely become better.
