💄ALEX'S P.O.V💄

I woke up with a major discomfort, my head hurt and my throat was dry. I used every bit of energy I had left to pull myself up from the cold concrete floor. I started to hear the voices of two people, arguing a man and woman. The man had a thick Russian accent in his speech while the woman had none. I walked over to the door of the small room I was trapped in so I could hear better. "Why would you carry her here?" I heard the woman yell. "That's my business," the man said in a monotone voice. Were they talking about me? Suddenly, every event that happened earlier rushed back through my memory, then loud sobs started to escape my lips, I threw my self to the floor in realization, my family, is gone. I then heard loud footsteps coming in my direction so I retrieved to the corner of the room by dragging myself across the floor. When the door opened a burst of light entered the room and so did a tall man. He looked at me with pity the walked up to me, he opened his mouth as if he was about to say something but then a woman entered the room. "Is it awake?" She said with a blank expression on her face. The man closed his mouth then looked down at me, he held out his hand and gestured for me to hold on to it. I reluctantly held onto his hand, he then clenched onto my hand which made me flinch a bit. He then tugged on my hand and pulled me up using little force. He gripped my chin and made me look into his light blue eyes. "Are you okay?" He said very softly which seemed out of character for him. Me being memorized by his beautiful eyes I only nodded my head 'yes'. I could feel the glare of the woman beside me so I instinctively took a step back from the man. He then held onto my hand and led me out of the room.

Before I knew it I wasn't even indoors anymore. I look around only to see there were hundreds of people surrounding us. "SILENCE!" The man spoke out and immediately everyone went to a state of deafening silence. "We have a new member for our coven," the man spoke again, suddenly their was a mass amount of whispers almost as if they were gossiping. At the sound of clicking heels at snapped my neck to see the source of the sound only to realize it was the same woman from earlier but with a change of clothing. That's when my mind started to catch up with what the man had said. Coven... What's a coven. A girl from the crowd spoke up she looked about my age, she had dark brunette hair, pale skin and hazel eyes. "A coven is a clan of vampires of course," she said a bit too sweetly. Did I say that out loud... And of course I knew that a coven is a clan of vampires... "VAMPIRES?" I may have said a bit too loudly. Trying to hide my fright I added a laugh which sounded more like a cry. "She's kidding right?" I said while staring at the muscular man. The more I looked at him I could identify his angelic features more. He had a sharp jaw which always seemed to be clenched, he had a 5 o'clock shadow, dark brown hair and a very muscular body and who could forget those blue eyes. "We have a lot to discuss," he said while looking a bit uncomfortable... Maybe because I was staring at him. He didn't even answer my question.

"This life style is barbaric and inhumane," I said with a disgusted look on my face as I just came to the realization that I was surrounded by blood thirsty, vicious, VAMPIRES.
"We aren't either of those things, not all vampires feed off human blood," he said with obvious rage in his voice.
"How am I so sure you weren't the vampire that killed my parents?" I shouted as tears start to stream down my face.
"I di...." He spoke but I interrupted him.
"Look A-Adrian or whatever your name is," I wiped away my tears. "I don't want to be apart of whatever this is, I never asked to be a...." I paused as I tried to remember the word.
"Fledgling." He spoke in a soft tone while running his hand through his soft, brunette hair. I turned on my heels and wondered off into the forest and for a second I wished he would have called out to stop me.

He had brought me far into the forest away from the coven to explain to me the madness of vampires existing. He told me that I wasn't a full vamp yet but merely a fledgling. He said I had to drink human blood to become a full vampire. Adrian... If that's his actually name didn't seem that much of a bad guy unlike his girlfriend... What was her name... Riley. The same woman who would not stop glaring at me, well at least now I know why.

My thoughts were interrupted by what sounded like someone stepping on a dried up leaf. "Hello!" I shouted out in the dark forest. I continued waking thinking to myself 'maybe it was just an animal'. Suddenly I saw a shadow zoom past me, from the sudden fright I lost my balance and fell onto a patch of leave. Then a familiar face appears in front of me. I let out a loud gasp then mumbled under my breath "fuck".
"I'm sorry did I scare you?" The brunette said with a wide grin on her face.
"N-no," I said while shaking my head.
The girl held out her hand then gave a lift from the floor. When we stood side by side I realized i was a bit taller than her.
"I'm Lily by the way," she spoke with a preppy tone.
"Alex," I said while trying to brush away leaves from my long brown hair. "You're that girl from the coven right?".
"Yeah I'm really sorry I scared you," she said with a slight frown.
"You can make it up to me by taking me back."
"Of course!" She held onto my hand and led the way back to the vampires.

So this chapter was longer than the other one and with that I'm pleased.

I hope you guys liked this chapter even though not that much happened I promise that by time the 5th chapter roll round we will have more things going on.
