Chapter 5

Maxwell's POV

Naka upo lang ako ngayon sa aking upuan habang iniisip ang mga sinabi ni Damon. I wanted to punch him pero hindi ko magawa dahil wala naman siyang alam. Napabuntong hininga na lang ako napahilamos ang kamay ko sa aking mukha.

"Aia, where the hell are you?" I ask the air knowing no one will answer since I'm all alone.

I closed my eyes as I try to remember what she looks like when I heard a knock on my door. I opened my eyes sat straight and fixed myself.

"Come in." sabi ko not looking at the door and pretending to be reading a report.

"Sir Max, here are all the summary reports of all the departments." Sabi ng isang boses na sobrang familiar.

Inangat ko ang aking tingin at nakita ko si Rebecca na bitbit ang folders ng reports ng lahat ng head. And seeing her right now I could see irritation in her eyes. I smirked and continued to look at her.

"Tsk. Saan ko po ito ilalagay?" she asked in an soft yet halata namang naiinis na siya.

I just looked at her for a few more minutes and continued to smirk at her agony before I answered. "Ilagay mo doon." I said pointing to a cabinet across my table. Pumunta na siya doon at ilalagay na niya sana sa cabinet nang...

"On second thought ipatong mo nalang dto sa mesa ko." Sabi ko at sinunod naman niya pero tahimik lang siya. Akmang ipapatong na niya sa mesa ko ng pigilan ko ulit siya.

"I changed my mind. Ilagay mo nalang siya doon sa cabinet at iwan mo lang dito sa mesa ko ang summary ng reports na enencode mo." Sabi ko while still smirking. Tiningnan niya ako ng sobrang sama na para bang gusto na niya akong sakalin bago sinunod ang sinabi ko. Binasa ko nalang ulit ang report na hinahawakan ko ng padabog niyang nilagay ang isang folder saking mesa. Umangat ang aking tingin sa kanya at tinignan ko siya ng masama at ganoon rin ang ginawa niya sakin.

"What do you think you're doing, Ms. Mendez?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"Sinusunod ko lang po ang utos niyo." Nakangiting sabi niya pero halatang sarcastic yun.

"Tss." Tanging na sagot ko. Habang tinitingnan pa rin siya ng masama.

"May iuutos pa po ba kayo SIR?" sabi niya at diniinan pa talaga ang salitang "Sir".

"Actually, meron." I replied in a hard tone.

"At ano naman po ang iuutos ninyo?" She asked too sweetly. Tumayo ako sa aking upuan at lumapit ako sa kanya. Siya naman ay napa-atras.

"W-what are you doing?" nauutal na tanong niya.

"Hmm...I'm just going to tell you what else you need to do." I said and continued to come near her until her back hit the wall. I trapped her with my body; both my palms flat on the wall trapping any way she could use to escape.

"L-Lumayo ka nga sakin!" natatarantang sabi niya. I smirked at her.

"What's wrong Ms. Mendez? Are you getting scared?" I asked her as I neared my face to hers.

"W-What are you talking about?! You're eating up my personal space!" galit na sabi niya. But I could see her breathing go uneven, her cheeks getting flushed and damn her scent smells heavenly and my little friend below is getting excited because of this. Dammit, now I'm the one who is trapped by her, I could feel the fast beating of my heart, as if I'm in a race. I just looked at her and my eyes seem like to have a mind of their own that I looked at her lips that are now parted. Dammit! I wanna ravish those lips until they are swollen.

"What have you done to me?" I asked her softly, I could barely hear my own voice, as I bowed my head.

"W-What?" She asked. I looked up at her and I saw confusion, anger, fear and excitement in her eyes.

"Nothing." I said coldly and turned my back from her. "Don't you ever do that again if you don't want this to happen again." I said sounding a little angry. But I am angry with her. I am angry with myself because of what I am feeling right now. I started to walk back to my table.

"Or what?" she asked icily and I stopped on my tracks and slowly turned to look at her.

"What?"

"You said I shouldn't do that again, or what?!" she asked angrily. I just stared at her with no emotion in my eyes.

"Huh! Cat got your tongue?" she said smirking.

I slowly smirked at her which made her own smirk disappear.

"Or this will happen." I said and pulled her waist to me and kissed her, hard on the lips.
