Alone. She despised that word. The taste it left behind on her tongue when she spoke of it was vile and she knew all too well the emotion that came along with such a work. Feeling like defeat, loneliness, depression. The word alone had no upside in Blair's cerulean eyes.
"So Blair, When you say you feel alone,do you feel alone when you are simply left by yourself or do you feel the same presence as when you are out in public with friends and family?" Friends? Correction. Friend. Blair had only one friend.
"Both." Simply stated, leaning back on the chilled leather seat, chipping off her purple nail polish.
"What do you mean by both?" Blair felt this overwhelming rush of anger shoot through her veins, causing her eyes shoot up at her good-for-nothing therapist. He was sitting there with his notepad, his long nose holding his rectangular glasses over his beady eyes, tapping his pen to the yellow paper awaiting her response.
"How should I know? Figure it out yourself. You're the one with the degree, not me." She hated being here, but her parents forced her to sit through a stupid session every week because they said she was "antisocial" and needed "help" which was a total lie. You see,Blair had this fear of being alone, but she didn't have to be alone anymore. She had Eleanor. El was a gift,a gift Blair would be forced grateful for. She was a tall girl, around 5'9 with striking features like light brown hair and light blue eyes and soft small lips. Although Blair was sometimes jealous of her beauty, she turned envy into love because this was her only friend to whom she loved to death.
"Ms.Bane, I would like your cooperation today. I understand it is terribly hard to talk about your feelings,but-" Blair stood up,picking up her book bag up from the floor.
"Ms.Bane-" Blair held up her hand.
"It's Blair and this session is over. I would like to go home." She stated, striding towards the door, leaving her therapist's mouth agape.
