Hundreds already dead by the hands, of those who refused to believe this far from innocent scandal. There were still many people that were able to remember the words such as 'love' and 'freedom' instead of the words we now seem to be hearing on a daily basis which are 'kill' and 'hate'. You couldn't turn a corner on what used to be your favourite street, simply because it had a little sweet shop at the top of it which even adults enjoyed, without being attacked by some maniac with a nail affixed to a beam of wood. And that sweet shop? It had already been ruptured down, robbed of its contents, and used as a place for shelter and to hide from the new outside world.
Egregious.A scrounging man, who clearly had no means of bathing, leant over a bin ransacking for any tiny scrap of food he could get his hands on. He stood only metres away from me, not realising he was in my presence, or that I was in his. Once he had shuvelled what little food he could get in his mouth, he turned around and almost gagged on it as his eyes greeted my own. He reached, and grabbed the crow bar that was attached to the side of his worn away belt, and slowly began to approach me. After what little he had taken, he began to impose and a smirk on his face arose within seconds. I grabbed the left hand side of my long, shawl coat, and with my right hand took out my pure unlighted blade.
"I'm going to rip you apart!" The man yelled"Are you now?" I simpered
He was now in front of me, lacerating viciously at me. However I was too swift for him, and continued to easily dodge his infuriating attacks. I managed to give myself enough space by stepping back, then with a small flick of my wrist, my sword incised the crowbar in half, within half a second. In complete revelation and trembling with fear, he attempted to scream, but no words came out, bar a small snivel of fear. I then slowly raised my blade to the tip of his nose, and then cracked my neck.
"Hein." I spokeFor a few subsequent moments the man stood more scared than he ever had been in his entire sorry excuse of a life, before breaking out into a immense fit of laughter.
"I seriously thought something mysterious was going to happen!" He howled and cackledHe took another look at my face, and as my smirk turned to a frown, he swallowed what was his last breath. I gripped the handle of my sword harder, and then as quick as I did, my sword shot an array of lightning shot through his face decapitating him gruesomely.
"Wow, that was mean Hikaru-kun~" came a voice from the distance"Did it not satiate you Izuna?" I questioned
"You did perfectly well." Laughed Izuna, finally walking through the mist delimiting the small street we were stood on.
Laughing, she placed a hand upon my shoulder, and we vanished in an instant, before appearing again on top of the large clock tower in the centre of the city.
"Do you know how many people have died so far, and how many have tried to break the walls surrounding us, Hikaru?" She sighed"We will enter the leaders hiding place, and we will finish him." I growled
"You're the one he wants to kill the most. Do you remember why?"
"Of course." I beamed, but before I continued, Izuna shot me a glare
Completely ignoring what I had just said, Izuna looked forwards out into the city, then sat down with her legs dangling off the edge of the building.
"We need to find Alex."The name suddenly brings unwanted chills down my spine. Thinking to myself I took a few steps backwards, then dived off the edge of the building. Falling, I widened my arms and legs to slow my fall, then I landed perfectly on the floor, with my left foot crossed almost over my right. The terrain surrounded me, was dipped inwards by my impact, and cracked badly. Before starting to walk again, I noticed two males that looked as if they had been previously fighting, were now staring at me, in utter confusion and fear. Fetching my sword, I then spun it around a couple of times whilst walking forwards, then balanced it gently on my shoulder.
Finding Alex was an easy task, and getting her to be compatable with me and Izuna would be slightly more complicated. The girl had a mind of her own, and if anyone here was truly insane to begin with, it was her.
