HARRY
After dinner, I go to my room and dib on my bed. God, how I miss my room. My own room. The walls have red fabric panels, windows covered with jet black curtains, and my bed is monstrous that is covered with plain white comforter. It is exactly the opposite of my room, or should I say our room in Watford. I just can't imagine how horrible it is to be stuck in a room with Louis. He used to stare at me when we're alone and don't forget the mischievious grin he's always flashing around me like he's indicating a revenge or a plan for me. We used to fight every night during our first year. We got into brawl, not just a normal brawl. We throw curses and spells (dangerous spells to be exact) at each other. I tried to feed him to a chimera, which Baz suggested because he basically did that to Simon. He went nuts about that and he even got traumatized for a week.
And then as a revenge, he tried to set me into a trap, where he bathed my bed in gasoline (I don't know how he snuck that thing) and when I lit a fire in my hand (which is a skill I inherited from Baz) because it's too dark, it spreaded all throughout the mattress which caused every students in Watford a big commotion.
Headmistress Bunce, Aunt Penny's mum, activated the Roommate's Anathema that prevents you from hurting anyone else in your room.
Louis never violated the Anathema after it has been activated. But I did in a couple of times when he taunted me for a fight and when he told me that I'm a forbidden child (which is very slanderous). I actually casted the spell "Hair of the dog" which covered his body with dog hair. He was sobbing all throughout the day because he can't remove it from his body. Louis is a weak magician. I'm not saying that because I'm a strong one, it's just he's so weak at casting spells. And most of the time he doesn't even make his wand work. He's such a shit. And I'm stuck with him for two more years.┈┈┈
Tristan bursts into my room early this morning, opening the curtains, and jumping on my bed. Fucking hell, it's only like 7 a.m and the sunlight slightly burns my skin. Why does he always do this kind of wake up call, geez, it's so annoying.
"What the actual hell Tris!",I shout at him while he's sheepishly grinning and still jumping on my bed like a child on a trampouline.
"Wake up, lazy bones. I have something to tell you.", he whimpers.
Tris is Uncle Niall's son which is Baz's friend way back. He studies at Watford too and basically on the same year as me.
I groan. "Can you not wait until later?"
"No."
"Fuck off."
"Harold, I figured out something.", he says, practically pushing me out of the bed.
I sigh."What is it now?"
"You're not gonna believe me. You know Dev right?"
"No."
"He's a friend of our dads' and guess what?"
I srunch my nose, obviously annoyed at him. "What?! Can you please hurry up?"
"He's Louis' father."
"Are you messing with me?"
"Am I- Look Harold, if I'm messing with you, I'm not gonna be here early in the morning.", he says, looking much more serious now.
"So what's so important about that?"
"They're gonna be here at the dinner later."
I raise my brow. "With Louis?"
"Probably."
"No way. That'll be my worst Christmas Eve ever.", I growl.
"Well I'm not sure though. Come on up, we'll gonna go skiing today. I'll see you downstairs.",he says,as he shuts the door behind him.
AMBER
I can't get Harry out of my mind. He's such an angel. Forest-green orbs, dimples on his cheeks, luscious lips, long curly hair, chiseled jaw and his slicked back. I swear the way he looked into my eyes, it was like he's looking into my inner soul.
"Aunt Agatha, can I study at Watford?", I say as we head back to our hotel.
She rolls her eyes as she turns the steering wheel."What a silly question,Amber."
"So can I study at Watford?",I repeat, doing my best to convince her.
"Amber, you can't study at Watford. What makes you so interested?"
I grin at her and she was curiously looking at me. "Oh I know.",she adds.
"Harry."
"Yeah-No!",I defensively say, trying not to blush.
"I knew it you little ginger! You like him don't you?",she laughs,a maniacal laugh.
I fold my arms and look at the window."No!"
"Amber, you can still see him even if you're not studying at Watford. You can visit him during school breaks or you can even FaceTime him."
"I don't even have his number."
"Well, I'll ask Simon."
"But it is really different if you can see him everyday.",I sigh.
"Amber, don't be a brat. You should know him first, maybe you'll end up just like me."
I scrunch my nose."Are you saying that there's a possibility that he's gay?"
"Maybe. I don't know."
"Auntie! He's not gay, okay? I can see it through his eyes.", I say, reminiscing his stare at me.
"Well we're not sure though. My only advice is, don't believe in love at first sight."
"Okay whatever you say.",I roll my eyes at her again and plug the earphones in my ears.Aunt Agatha never had a boyfriend after Simon and her broke up,she dates some guys but never really take one seriously. She said that it'll be better to be single for a while even though she's single for like 7 years and I don't want to end up just like her.
