"Alright honey, good night. Sweet dreams," Mom bid me good night as she kissed my forehead.
"Okay mommy, good night," I smiled at her and reached up to kiss her cheeks.
As she walked towards the door, I called her. "Yes honey?"
"Can you leave the lights on, mommy please?" I pleaded as I felt the fright creeping through me.
"Of course honey." She closed the door after her, leaving the lights on like I said.
Storm was being hard and heavy, as the wind howled outside. The branch of a tree scratched my window, making it harder for me to fall asleep.
Finally when sleep started taking over me, the lights suddenly started flickering for a couple times until it turned off completely.
"Mom? Mom! Are you there?" I screamed for her but there was no response whatsoever.
As fear got the best of me, I pulled the blanket over my head and stayed still like a statue.
A few minutes went by and the storm was started to slow down. I slowly pulled the blanket down to my nose, not daring to look into the dark.
Suddenly, my one of my teddy bears fall down from the shelf. I screamed in fear, but still no one came. Gathering up the courage, I slid the blanket off of me and went to get the teddy.
As I stepped on the icy cold tiles, shiver ran up my body like an electric current, making goosebumps appear on my skin. I walked towards my teddy, bending down to get it but it started moving backwards. For a moment, I didn't understand what's going on and just went for the teddy once again. But this time it moved further and faster in lightning speed.
I ran for it until it stopped in front of the bathroom door. Slowly, I tip-toed towards it and grabbed it quickly before it could any further. "Got you. Now Mr Teddy, you can never get away from me," I grinned and walked towards the shelf.
I stood on my toes to place the teddy, when I heard someone whispering behind me. I turn to look at what's that and there stood a guy with blood all over his face and eyes black hollow. "You can never get me!"
