Freedom from the prison of High School and into the majestical world of College. Yes I said majestical. Finally free from my overprotective Dad, although im sure that i'll miss him, he was all I had, he helped me through everything.

"Bren...Bren wake up." I heard my dads voice by my bed and slowly opened my eyes. I looked at the clock, really?

"Dad, its 6:30 in the morning!" He chuckled as I slammed my head back into my pillow.

"Come on, you have a long drive." He was right, and I had be at check in by one. I honestly couldn't care less about how I looked today, i mean I was just moving in it wasn't like i was gonna meet anyone important right? I quickly pulled my hair up got a under armor headband in and put on sweats and a soccer shirt before i made my way downstairs. The drive from Oakland was long, but I had made it in time. I looked to the sign and smiled as I read it

"University of Southern California." I almost squealed. I can't believe i was here, I can't believe my dad let me go here. I was almost certain he would make me go to Berkeley, considering it was only a town over from where he lives. He must be lonely already I think to myself, I knew guilt was going to be an issue as soon as I got the acceptance letter.

I finally had unpacked my whole room and it was only 3:00. I still had no roommates to show up so I began to question if I had any at all. My room was a suite so I had three roommates. As I walked out into the kitchen I noticed some kitchen appliances that weren't mine or the schools so I must of had a least one roommate, and then as I opened the cabinets to put my outrageous supply of Ramen away I noticed the cabinets were already packed.

"More for me." I said as i walked back to my room, i was going to keep most of my food in there anyway. As I set down my Ramen the front door opened and i heard laughter and then a head appeared in my doorway.

"Hi! Im Cassidy Strikler, one of your roomates, and you must be?" She said with a Southern accent, which i wasn't suprised by, people came to California from all over.

"Brenna Mayes." She gave me a smile and said

"Pretty name, now come meet the boys."

Boys? This was a co-ed dorm? I hope that Cassidy was at least on my side of the suite.

I looked at my phone as I walked out from my room

"Ok, Brianna." Cassidy said loudly and she touched my arm, name wrong and all. I was still focused on my twitter feed. "These are our suitemates Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles." My heart nearly stopped at the name.
