Chapter six

Lucy's POV

Yesterday was the day Natsu left for his trip, I was just sitting at home with his cat, he wanted me to take care of happy, he was in my lap nest to my small kitten Plue
They got used to each other fairly quickly I was surprised and glad that I wouldn't have to deal with their fighting or anything

I've missed Natsu, I didn't want him to be far away from me
For once in my life I really wanted someone's company
I have always been a quiet kid I didn't even being near my parents sometimes, it's not like they were bad parents I just wanted to be alone all the time
Juvia and Levy are my only friends and they respect how I grew up. But I feel very comfortable around them, I trust them with my life.
Having Natsu around is great he is always so happy and loves to make me smile he makes me feel free from my anti- social ness. It relaxing.

Normal POV

Unknowingly to Lucy Natsu was thinking the exact same
It was almost hard to focus on the road

'Come on Natsu just focus on your job!' Natsu thought focusing hard on where he was driving pulling over at a gas station getting some food and a coffee.
He sat back in his truck pulling his phone out and calling Lucy

Ring ring

Lucy jumped out of her thoughts picking up her phone and answering

"Hey Luce!" Hearing Natsu's voice so cheerful it was great!
"Hey Natsu!" Lucy said with the same cheerfulness
He asked on how happy was doing and how everything was getting along Lucy told him everything was great the cats were besties now they are inseparable!

After we talked for a little over an hour we stopped so Natsu could get back on the road
Lucy laid back on the couch as the cats curled up beside her soon falling asleep in a long nap
