The Cute Neighbour

Chapter seven

'Jeez why can't a week go any faster!' I thought getting off the couch after drinking her coffee
It been only three days since Natsu left on his job
'Oh well I have to get ready for work' I put on my jacket and grabbed my bag quickly feeding the cats and headed out the door.
I usually walked to work even if I had a car I liked the early walks when the air is cooler and the sun is just rising it looks nice and its very quite

After a little of walking I made it into the cafe I worked at, I was a waitress
I love working there because I was quite good at socializing with people
The only thing is I would get hit on a lot when I'm there but I just ignore it
I wasn't a lot to be rude to the customer unless they touch me then I get my manager and they will get thrown 
I got my uniform on (Lucy's uniform looks like the one in the picture above) and started getting the tables and chairs

My boss was already there in his office, he was a good guy he has flirted with me a couple of times but I always just ignored it or changed the subject I never saw him as that and now that I'm with Natsu i will hope he doesn't act like that anymore or especially in front of Natsu
He has a short temper and would probably punch my boss and I would lose my job.
After I changed the sign to open I went back to the front counter setting out the cookies and treats for people to bye.

People started coming in and getting there coffee before they went to work, most people I knew because they came in so much such friendly people!
As the day progressed the busyness went down which was lucky for me because I was the only one working on the floor, Juvia also works with me but it was her day off today so it was just me
The day was going by fast which was good, I just wanted to get home

And I couldn't stop thinking of Natsu.....
He makes me have butterflies and blush just thinking of him!
It was almost hard to focus on work I would just get off track
When I was pouring coffee I actually spilt some of it cause I got distracted!

After work ended I cleaned up and my boss closed the store for me and said I could leave early I thanked him and left
I didn't even bother to change out of my uniform I just started walking home
The sunset was so nice
When I got home I changed and went for a walk through a park that was near my house.
It was getting dark though so I headed back home after I walked for a few minutes

I was quite tired after today so I actually fell asleep on the couch after changing into my pjs and snacking a bit
The cats were sleeping  peacefully beside me for the whole night

Time skip to tomorrow where Lucy is half way threw her work day

Ugh today is just such a hectic day....
Luckily Juvia was working with me

'Don't worry Lucy just a little longer until we're done" Juvia smiled at me grabbing two cups of coffee for a customer
"Heh. Thanks Juvia your right" I smiled back than went back to attending a customer.

After we closed I started walking home it was dark now and I was rushed a little, I never really liked walking alone in the dark I always had a little bit of a fear
I was still in my uniform, I just didn't want to change

When I finally got home putting my bag down and taking my sweater off hanging it up
I made some chai tea and sat on the couch finally relaxing after a long day on my feet.
I laid back on the couch closing my eyes....
I  dozed off for a bit  but was woken from a noise
I sat up a bit to hear what it was
Knock knock
Someone was at my door at this hour? Really...
I got up walking to the door, it was to dark to see outside so I just opened it
It was Natsu!
"Oh Natsu didn't expect you to be here" I yawned moving aside letting him in and shutting the door

"Yeah, well I didn't expect you would be in a maid costume" he snickered
"It's not a maid costume I'm a waitress" I walked toward the couch sitting down and taking off my knee high socks
"And you have to wear that?" He asked sitting beside me taking off his sweater
I laughed slightly looking at him then yawning it was so late
"Sorry if I woke you I just didn't want to wait until tomorrow to see you.." He rubbed the back of his head
I smiled grabbing his hand leading him off the couch he followed
I lead him to my room for the night
We both got in and snuggled together
I instantly fell asleep
