Down the Rabbit Hole into Wonderland
There was this girl, and society's ideas of "beauty" and "perfect" sunk into her skin and embedded into her heart. Their words cut deeper than knives, and it seemed like life was trying to push her off the edge. She wished for an escape. Every night, in the dark she would watch the same movie over and over again. She imagined herself as Alice, forgetting the world that is above the Rabbit Hole. She imagined there was a world, where nothing is considered prettier or better than anything else. Everything is so special and beautiful in their own individual ways. It seemed like the perfect life. Anything really, seemed better than the life she was living. But she imagined falling down the Rabbit Hole, not afraid for she knew there was something better down there. Slowly and gracefully entering Wonderland. She wished and wished, that Wonderland was real. And that one day, she would fall down the Rabbit Hole into the perfect escape called Wonderland
