Chapter 12
Your eye's opened slowly and revealed a white ceiling. The low grumble of your stomach signaling your hunger. You ignored it and looked around the room, seeing multiple machines and some wires connected to you.
Am I... in a hospital? You thought as you continued to look around. The door to your room opened and Hanji walked in. She looked over to you and gasped before running out of the room. You looked at the door in confusion. Only moments later was when the door opened again and both Hanji and Levi rushed in. You stared at them in confusion.
"Um... how long have I been here?" You asked when they both reached your bedside.
"About two days now." Hanji replied. Levi just stared at you, relief covering his face. You looked at him and smiled lightly.
"Miss me?" You asked, a joking tone in your voice. He just rolled his eyes and 'tch'd'.
"No shit Sherlock..." He mumbled. You let out a deep sigh before you stomach screamed out its hunger again. Levi got up and walked to the door.
"I'll get you some food." He said before walking out the door.
"I think he likes you..." Hanji said. You looked up at her, surprise covering your face.
"W-what makes you think that?!" You asked.
"When he was allowed to, he'd been in here, just watching over you. It was like he was a guardian protecting you from evil." She said, sitting down in a chair that was next to your bed.
"Right in this chair did he sit. Watching his crush as sleeping she did." She said, trying to sound somewhat poetic. You giggled a little before Levi walked in. He looked at you, confused.
"What's with you and giggling around her?" He asked. You shrugged.
"She can be pretty funny at times." You said. Levi rolled his eyes and handed you the food he had gotten you. You smiled and took it before eating it... like a slob...
"Jesus, do you always eat like this?" He asked you. You swallowed what you had in your mouth and shook your head.
"Not always." You mumbled, You watched as he rolled his eyes and walked up to you before flicking you on the forehead.
"Ow... what was that for?!" You questioned.
"You're disgusting." He said before walking out of the room.
"Grumpy much?" Hanji said, a large smile spreading across her face.
"No crap..." You mumbled.
