Denisse's PoV

I woke up. I felt something cold fall on my cheek. And then on my eyelid. I opened my eyes. It was starting to rain. I wanted to move, but was immediately stopped by an unbearable pain on my back. I groaned in pain and fell back to the dirt. Dirt? How...? Where...? I looked around. I saw Sam and Lucy laying on the ground some feet away fom me. What was that...? Realizing what the substance that was covering them was, I stood up, ignoring the pain that numbed my back, and went with them.

"Lucy! Sam!" I knelt between the two of them. I bent towards Lucy, her back was a bloody disaster. "Lucy..." I moved her. "Lucy, answer me. Lucy..." Some tears wanted to fall from my eyes. Even the thought of her being harmed made me suffer immensely, and with all that blood... it seemed like it could have happened something worse.

Sam graoned and started moving. I turned around to see her.

  "My head..." she moaned.

"Sam!" Lucy started moving and grunting too. "Girls!" I smiled. They were fine...or so it seemed. "Are you okay?"

"I think so... What happened?" asked Lucy.

  "I don't know, " I answered.

I looked at the ground. We were on the yard. Why were we here? What happened? Why did they have blood on their backs?

  "My back hurts..." Lucy complained.

  "Mine too," added Sam.

  I observed them.

"Hm?" I passed my hand over my back. My eyes widened. I felt my skin covered in some kind of liquid. Sam's blouse and Lucy's dress left their backs be seen too. "Girls..." I held up the edges of my blouse, showing them they were ripped. Both of them checked themsalves and gasped.

"What happened to our clothes?!" Exclaimed Sam.

The part of our clothing that had once covered our backs had been teared apart. Our brassieres too. But they hadn't been removed, and so now they were stained with blood. I noticed that my hands and wrists burned whe I moved them. I watched them closely and saw I had a lot of very small scratches all over my hands, wrists and elbows.

  "Wh-What happened?!" Questioned Lucy.

Seeing Lucy, who was turned around with her back facing us in an attempt to arrange her clothes once more, I could appreciate some lines that seemed to be darker than the rest of her skin and the blood over it. They looked like they were some kind of drawing or something. I tried joining them, and even though it was a bit hard, it became easier as the rain washed the blood off the skin of my friend, revealing the figure. They formed... a star?

  "A star?"

"What are you talking about, Denisse?" Sam asked me.

  "Lucy's back has a star..."

  "Right..."

"Really?" Lucy moved so she could see my back. "You have something too... But I can't see what it is."

  Sam turned around.

  "And I?"

  I examined her.

  "It's a sun. Or so I think..."

"Yeah, it's a sun..." Lucy confirmed. "Now, let's se," she sat behind me, "that..."

  Sam moved too.

  "Isn't that a moon?"

  "Yeah..."

"A moon, a sun and a star..." I said an a low voice.

"But why...?" It seemed like Lucy didn't need to finish the question. The three of us remembered what happened.
